After we put the girls to bed Saturday night we painted the laundry room. It is the second to the last area that has not been painted ever by us. Hall closet is the last area. We spent Saturday cleaning out all of Michael's paint cans and found this paint from a client job. There is plenty left over to paint the laundry room! Free paint! This color for the laundry room will also be going in the entry way, dinning room, downstairs hall and kitchen/nook. We are try to simplify or painting and touch ups for the future. So the living room, bathroom and office will stay their normal colors and have all been done recently.
I love the new color with the cabinets, we hung a painting that Jake gave Michael one year for Christmas in there also. I love how fresh and clean the laundry room looks now. The laundry room is a catch all for shoes, swim stuff, laundry, dog stuff we go in and out that door to the garage and car. I love how fresh it looks now. Will see how long it last.
I think it was a bit ironic that 4 years ago on the 4th of July Michael installed the tile in the kitchen. He never did finish the laundry room tile. We have it just never done it.
Friday night Michael also sealed the aggregate drive way so our drive way looks nice and shiny. I was thankful to get some honey do items checked off my list. Don't worry there is plenty more!
