Poor Ashley

Ashley pushing Chloe back to the car. This is very hard for her to understand that Emily is going to school every day. She kept asking "what am I going to do?" It was so sad.
This is Ashley in Emily's class, she was not happy all the attention has been on Emily and Emily starting school. Emily only went to school for a short period of time when Emily was about a year old. Even then Ashley did not like it and it was only two days a week. Ashley is getting use to Emily being gone at school all day. I think she has mixed emotions, she loves walking Emily to the bus stop and thinks she can get on too. She enjoys the extra attention when Emily is gone, and picking out the shows we watch. I think she misses Emily by the end of the day because she is happy to pick Emily up. However when we get Emily home then she none stop fights and picks on Emily. Wednesday we went to the park with friends, it was so weird not having the "big kids" there with us. This is just the start I am excited to get into a routine.

I forgot...pictures of 1st day.

Emily in her class.

Emily washing her hands after doing a project with stamps. Ashley asking "what do I get to do?"

Emily going in to see her cubby and find the bathroom.

Emily's cubby.

Emily found her teacher, and getting our list of things to find. Mrs. Pantall. Emily and her both talked about being excited and having hard times sleeping the night before.

Ohh the weekend.

Ohh how I love the weekends and having Michael home. We planned that Michael was going to work on Saturday and Friday night he said it was canceled...YES!! We always "want" the money but me and the girls "NEED" Michael at home. I try and be very understanding about work its how we eat, live and survive. Plus I get to stay home, it is not always glamours but someone has to do it. We ran earns, got lunch enjoyed the day. Sunday too, went to church, had lunch book store and home to relax. Michael mowed the lawn on Sunday in the rain smoking a cigarette. (yes he still smokes, and no I do not know when he will quit.) The grass was so long I posted earlier in the weeks that you could not see Killer in the grass poor dog. Sad thing is it looks like it needs to be mowed again 3 days later. Ugh never can catch a break.

1st half day of school...Friday.

So the first day of school. Emily woke up in our bed don't ask why she I think woke up to early and excited and came and slept with us. I had to take a picture of her waking up the first day...of course. Emily and I had picked out her clothes the night before Michael and I bought this outfit thinking it would be her first day outfit, she loves long skirts to the floor and the shirt came with a matching necklace. How can you go wrong?? Even though it is a half day I had to pack Emily a lunch, her lunch is early at 10:45 but is good for her because if it was Emily's way she takes about 2 hrs. to eat breakfast so I know she is hungry at 10:45am. Emily, Ashley, Chloe and I walked Emily into school that first day. We had to wait in the gym with all the other kids, Emily lines up in the big "K" line. We walked with her to her class and she met her teacher. Mrs. Pantall is super nice and sweet as I said before. I have all of this in pictures that I will do in the next post. We got to do a scavenger hunt in the class with Emily to help her put her things away. Ashley kept saying "what do I get to do?" It was so sad, Ashley wants to be BIG like Emily too. Emily says she had a great day. No tears I held up pretty good if I must say I am excited for Emily to move on to this next stage of life. Will see how I feel on her first bus day!!

School days, school days ...

Good old fashion rule days!! Anyway Thursday night was "open house" for Emily's school. Michael and I got to go meet her teacher, Mrs. Pantall. I am so happy Emily has her!! Her husbands family own the local strawberry farm that we go pick at every late Spring. She is a very nice women who has a almost 2 year old daughter named Brooke. Emily only really knows one kid in her class and that is Levi the little boy who lives next door. There is a lot of history there but we are excited and one of the few parents who is not upset their kid is in a peanut free class.

I signed Emily up for a Friday start date, and her next day will be Wednesday with her first full day on Thursday when she can ride the bus if she would like.
Emily was so excited and tired on Thursday night because she had been hanging at the Hudgin house thank you Mrs. Dayna, Cole, Luke, Taylor and Mr. Brent for watching the girls. We had to give Emily a bath, wash her finger nails, yuck. And get her to sleep a big day in the morning. Emily asked me to cuddle with her, melt my heart. Of course I did but not for long because she needed her sleep. Here is a picture of Emily after she got out of the bath. Ohh and some pictures of Ashley she was not handling all the attention on Emily well. She had to be thrown into the tub with her clothes on, she is sooo like me when I was little I did not like to bathe either. I am thankful that she does NOT bite like I did. Sorry mom.

Playing catch up ...

Okay so I am playing catch up on Friday, now from the week. Tuesday Emily smashed her thumb in the car door in front of Publix. It was awful and it swelled up something awful. But she could use it she only really complained on the first day of it hurting. She told me as soon as it happened "Mommy call daddy tell him to come home right now." It was so sad I am posting a picture of it not good one to show it swelled but I am trying to have more pictures.

The next day no less is Emily's 5 year check up, with Kindergarten SHOTS! I know is it pick on Emily week? We got off lucky she only needed two shots and from what I can tell she is done until she is 11 years old. Emily was awful when it came to the shots my kids are usually so good about taking shots, Emily once got a FLU SHOT while a sleep and never woke up. The nurse said it is the age. I could not help but laugh I have never herd Emily scream like that. You would of thought we were chopping off her leg!! Anyway Emily is growing Ms. Kristen called her "a tall drink of water." Emily is 42 3/4 lbs. and 45 1/2" tall. 95% for height, I guess that is good. Emily enjoyed the mommy time we read books while waiting, Aunt Jenny was so nice to watch Chloe and Ashley for us. Besides the shots it was a nice hour and half of time together.

Emily and Ashley played make up this week that is rare for us, I have such mixed feelings about make up. I hate it!!! But the girls love playing with it, they have their own make up they are not aloud to play with mine!! Michael said once they can play it until they start doing it right, then will see for now they just look like clowns when they do make up. They are only aloud to do make up on this nasty white carpet that some one gave us. It is in the playroom.

We had a over all great week, Thursday we tried to go to the park but it rained like crazy on Wednesday night in to Thursday. So we went to the library with Aunt Jenny, Isreal, Caleb, Mrs. Nicole and Hazel. Also some new friends Mrs. Dori, Abbie and Hart. Afterwards Jenny and I took the kids to McDonalds and let them play.

Bitter Sweet

So this has been one of the longest weeks EVER!!! Poor Emily wakes up everyday "do I get to go to school today?" She is so ready to go, her cousin Isreal got to go to school on Tuesday and when Emily found out she was so mad she wanted to go to school too. The schedule for school here is so messed up. I hope she starts Friday. We have a meeting at school tonight to find out who her teacher is and what classroom. And to sign her up for a start date for Friday, Monday or Tuesday. With everyone going to school on Wednesday!! Ahhh Wednesday is going to be a very busy day for us half day of school, rest, ballet at 5:30 and pick my mom up at the airport at 6:50 sorry mom you might be hanging at the airport for a bit before we get there.

But bittersweet, I love the idea of Emily having more time at home but not so much time at home, its been a week since testing the 1st - 5th graders have already been in school for a week!! So Emily is growing up so fast and her and I are ready for this show to just get on the road already!!!

Sunday family FUN day!!

Sunday we went to church our pastor is back from a 4 week break. PT is all fired up about God and spreading the word and not being depressed because this is only for a short time that we will be here on Earth and then we will go to heaven and be with Jesus. Lately I have mentioned about being in a FUNK so this past Sundays sermon really spoke to me!! I love when that happens, even better when I know it speaks to me during and not find out hours later. When something comes suddenly, unexpectedly and violently as it did in November of last year. So we came home from church and had a relaxing Sunday. It started to rain but not lighting and Michael half joking said go play in the rain! I had forced the kids to do this last week so they were all over it. They had a lot of fun in the warm rain and after it stopped raining even Chloe joined in for some fun with the hose, chalk, pool toys and sisters. Michael had fun using are 75-300mm lens taking pictures. He was not really expecting the girls to really "play" in the rain but it was a good time. Please enjoy the pictures. I am blessed while on Earth to have a wonderful husband and three great kids. I admit it is sometimes hard for me to remember that they are great kids.

Where is Killer?

Ashley really could not see Killer it has been really HOT so Michael has not mowed the back yard. At lease he has kept up the front yard!! I just really had to share this. At this point I don't think I could have found Chloe either, except she would be screaming because she HATES grass.

Thankful for Part 2 of Friday

I am thankful that later that day Emily was feeling better and that my cousins and Aunt were coming over for dinner. I am thankful that all I had to do was supply the house and salad and everything else was brought. I am thankful to have MY family living in Tennessee with us. I can't wait for the day my mom moves here too.

We have lots of family in Tn, between Michael and I. Michael has his mom and dad(yes they are still married, isn't that amazing?) His brother Jake and his wife Jenny I am so thankful that Jake and Jenny are back in TN and I get to spend lots of time with Jenny and the kids. Michael's other brother and two of his daughters. Michael also has a cousin who also lives in Clarksville we don't see them too often but it is family. Michael also has another cousin who live in GA that is only 5 hours away and they come up and visit at least once a year. The nice thing about them visiting is they were very close to Michael's family in CA. So we have had Michael's grandma and aunt visit us quite a few times. Off track my family. My cousin Jamie and her husband moved to TN about 3 years ago?? They now have a little girl that is almost a month older then Chloe. I love that they are so close in age. Although Jamie lives almost an hour away the girls and I see Jamie almost every other week. I also have an Aunt who lives in TN. Aunt Tricia which is my moms sister and Jamie's mommy lives in Chattanooga, TN. Again almost two hours but it is nice to have family here of my own.
On this past Friday Aunt Tricia, which the girls love her, Cousin Jamie, Hailey, Cousin Doug and his wife Kelly (they still live in CA), all came to visit. Even Jamie's husband Jeremy drove over from work for dinner too. It was nice to have everyone over and again I did not have to cook. I am so thankful that they all drive to my house to come see Michael the girls and I. Even though Michael had to work super late that night. (Story of our lives). Anyways I have always loved spending time with my Aunt and it is so nice that her and Jamie live close and we can again spend time together.
For these things alone I am blessed. I am blessed with a house, a couch, and a table big enough for all of us. but if Jamie has one more kid we could bust!!! But will make room.

Just when I thought all would be lost!!!

Well at least we would loose more then breakfast. Emily got sick on Friday morning, throw up sick. But no fever, no sore throat no nothing. I think it was nerves from her testing at school the day before and being so excited about everything. The day before after school was spent at grandma's and we love going to grandma's but too much playing and not enough eating and falling a sleep in the car. Emily is an eater Ashley could go days with out eating Emily can only go hours. So in my mommy opinion, I know I am not a doctor, but NOT eating and a bit of nerves caused Emily to be SICK!! Thank goodness on the kitchen floor and double thank you for being in the kitchen on the tile no on the carpet and couch like last time!! Well that must have been Emily's way of telling me spend the day at home, resting eating her favorite soup(from a box), and watching TV. By the end of the day she was GREAT better then great back to her old self of what can I do for her!!
So the way the pictures load, first is what she looked like at the end of day. Second picture is her set up on the couch eating soup watching tv, with blankets all around it cover in case of more vomit.

So on Wednesday the day before Emily's first day of school, I treated Ashley and Chloe to getting their nails painted. Emily has not bitten her nails in like 3 months I am really proud of her her nails have grown out so I took the girls to get them done. Above are the pictures notice Ashley is on the toilet when I took the picture of her toes, when ever I can get her to hold still.
Chloe stayed at home with Celina. Celina is the girl who lives down the street that is sweet, wonderful, talented and beautiful. Most of all she loves Chloe, she thinks they are sisters and Chloe likes her too. I need to get a picture of them together before Celina decides she is too cool for Chloe.

School days, school days good old fashion school days

Emily had her first day of SCHOOL. Well not really, she had a test today at school. So just for an hour Emily and I were at school. Nicole was so sweet to watch Ashley and Chloe so I focus on Emily.

I am THAT mom I took pictures of Emily in front of the school. Emily was in a great mood for her first day of "school" well not really but she thought it was. She went through lots of emotions, but had fun time testing lets hope that doesn't change anytime soon. My baby girl is growing up so fast. We really love you Emily.

On the FARM...ei...ei...oooo.

So here are a few pictures that I snapped of the girls when I got back from my outing. They found some "bad" eggs and they got to break them. Ohh the joys of having a grandma that will let you break eggs. The chickens will eat them, don't ask it really is gross if you think about it. So here is some pictures of them with eggs, Chloe hot and sweaty, and a big moment for Emily her first sting. Grandma thinks it is from a sweat bee. Any way enjoy the pictures.

A quite night with Chloe

So Grandma was so nice to me and let me run away this afternoon with out the kids. Now that Chloe is off the boob and 14 months old I don't feel guilty about leaving the girls with Grandma and Grandpa for a couple of hours. 4 hours tops then the guilt starts creeping in. I did not really have anything to do but it was nice to be kid FREE!! I love you girls but still Momma needs a break too. Not to mention that when I dropped the girls off Emily took my hand led me outside gave me a kiss and told me to leave. Really warms the hart!! But when I got back the kids were playing in the barn with Marshmallow (aka Blue Eyes) and Nardy the cats. Checking out the new baby chick with her momma and the other animals I took Chloe inside I was too hot and Chloe sweats all day everyday. I hope she grows out of it. So Chloe fell asleep on me rocking in the recliner you know every Grandpa has one... I think. It was so sweet she never does that, Ashley came in and said but that baby in a CRIB!!! So I layed her down. Went out with the girls for a bit. So in the back of my mind I am thinking do I stay here long enough and see if they fall asleep in the car and wooo hoo I am done for the night and just have Chloe?? Or do I leave yell at them the whole way home so they don't fall asleep. Ahhh its been such a nice day will hang out longer maybe they will sleep all night we are still recovering from the FAIR!!! So success we left at almost 6 girls fell asleep besides Chloe, she already napped are you keeping up?? So when Chloe and I got home unloaded the girls it was just us we had fun read books Chloe LOVES books, and she colored, yes she LOVES to color. I did dishes I do NOT LOVE dishes. (lets be clear.) She found little Blakies car and was playing with it. I will post a video of her playing with the car in her high chair watching me do the dishes. I watched the video thinking how quite it was filming it. So scary when no other kids around to bug her, steal the car or yell in the video back ground. I will also post a video of Blake and Chloe with the other kids after a very long day at the river. Blake LOVES Chloe, he likes to "pet her." At some point petting Chloe is going to be cut off but for now it is soooo sweet. Blake I love you so much you make me smile and wish I could have RED head babies. Momma loves you too Chloe.

Funny things the girls said today...

Ashley told me tonight at dinner: "I am ready for ballet, but mommy Dinosaurs don't like ballet." I responded with "you don't have to be a dinosaur all the time." Ashley thinks she is a T-Rex most days.
Emily then told me "I like Rock Star things and beautiful things." Ashley followed that up with "I like rock stars." Ohh great a look into my future, broke musicians oh Joy, oh Joy.
I have been in a bad mood as of late so little talks like these make my day better until the girls start fighting over something else like a wand. This wand we had two of Emily broke Ashley awhile back and tonight Emily broke hers too!!! Fun days girls went to bed early tonight. They were extra cranky from being up late at the fair the night before.
Tomorrow Emily has testing at school. Tomorrow is the first day of school for most kids. I am annoyed that they easy the kindergartners into school but relieved at the same time. 1...2...3...Here goes nothing.

Skip a day 99, 100.

Do you remember saying that as a kid?? Skip a few 99, 100. Any way I feel like skipping a few days. Monday after the pool was hard and Tuesday started out hard. The kids are there usual selves I am having a hard time. I don't know why? Well I am HOT and cranky, I guess and looking for a change. Ready to get on with the year maybe? Looking forward to the FALL, soccer ( I think I love it more then the kids), school, ballet (not so hot on but something for the girls to do). And girl scouts I am having mixed feelings about I loved it as a kid but it might be too much for us right now, but I am holding on to the faith that it will be fun the troop leader I think will be amazing!!! That is right Mindy I don't know you well but I think you will be AMAZING!! So I am skipping the last few bad days in my mind all though we have had fun. We went to the mall yesterday morning, that was FUN well kind of. I love shopping for the girls just don't always like having them with me while shopping but we made the best of it. I remember being in Payless thinking I feel better right now!! That is good, right? Well the girls took a nap on the way home another YES!!! So I got to rest too I did not sleep well the night before and we were going to the FAIR that night!!! Wooo Hooo the fair!! Ohhh wait I don't really like the fair... but I know Emily does and now I know Ashley does too. I like to eat at the fair it is really hot and expensive, I did not get my funnel cake because it was too HOT. I did get some ribbon cut fries that Michael was like these are like CHIPS!?
Anyway I got mad before we even got there because I was going to have to be "nice" to some people... UGH! So I am going to make that take the blame of why I for got my camera double Ugh!!! But the girls had lots of fun and got to ride lots of rides!
The girls saw Isabella and Irelynn and rode some rides with them. (hmmm on the ugh?)
Anyway picture it the girls were hot and sweaty, with a bit of sticky. Chloe sat in her double stroller most of the night. We got the girls cotton candy so add some pinkish red and blue color to them, and that is what our night looked like. On a side note I showered twice that day...it has been that HOT. So I guess skip a few 99, 100 could go towards the temperature out side too. HA!!!

Monday, August 9, 2010

So a quick note about the pictures... a nod towards wardrobe. Emily is wearing a dress by Nicole Vinson, Purple Finch. I picked Ashleys dress but notice two different shoes both for the right foot and a princess hat. Ahsley is in a huge hat phase. Chloe is wearing a green shirt with pink shorts because that is what I had handy after her poop blow out this morning. On aside not she is naked NOW!

Last week of my old life....

So today we went to a place called the FUN POOL. These people in Franklin feel it is their minstry to let people come to their house and swim. They have this great pool with a slide and waterfall. Not to mention many other toys they let you play with. It was really nice Blake almost drown at the begining getting off the slide and Ella too, with me. She held on so tight to my legs she went under water with my legs. And in true fashion Ashley almost drown too. Emily saved her life!!! It was a lot of fun, maybe with God watching over this house no one will drown or lets pray. Anyway it was lots of fun and most inportant the water was cool. Chloe got special time with Celina the girl down the street who is ready to adopt Chloe at any momment.

Anyway I title this last week of my old life, Thursday school starts here in Spring Hill and Emily will be starting too well kind of she has some testing on Thursday and then does not go back for a week. But our life is going to change my mom made plane resorvations and we had to do it around bus schedules...yes Emily is going to take the bus!! I hope she does not fall asleep on the bus she is like her mom and call always fall asleep in the car. Emily was pouting today after the Fun pool in her room and it was just Ashley, Chloe and I, and I thought this is how things will be 5 days a week soon and its kind of scary. I am feeling a little sad today I will miss my Buba even though she is the cause of a lot of fights with the girls. She is such a big helper, too.

Also today it started to rain and in the summer it usually thunders when it rains today it started to rain first so I draged Emily out from infront of the TV and we played in the RAIN!! Emily was not so HOT on it and went inside quick to hit play on her show. (don't get me started on how I don't like that she is figuring out how to use the remote. she is growing up too fast and getting so smart.) But again there I was with Chloe and Ashley only playing in the rain. Thinking again this is how it is going to be most days. Maybe just one tear!!!
(again this thing is frozen I have pictures to post and forgive me no spell check available.)

Ashley ...Soccer Monster.

Today we had soccer "testing" or something for Emily ages 4-5. Ashley has been signed up for soccer but was not asked to "test" today. Almost three year olds testing I guess would be a joke!! But Ashley knew that Emily had to test today. So Ashley got up this morning put her soccer shorts on and grabbed her new Orange soccer ball. She said she was ready. We kept telling her it was not her turn today but she would not hear it. So I let her go to practice ready to play with her ball. They never let her play and to make matters worst there was an Ashley there so everytime they called her name Ashley would get excited. To pause for a moment on Ashley she really is growing up, she speaks so well now and is really turning into a little girl. I had to go to bat with the YMCA about her being able to play since she is not quite three. This is going to be Ashley's life story since I took the Caster Oil 4 days later then I should have. That is right she is born 4 days after the cut off date. In her defense she should have been born like 10 -15 days after the cut off date. I took Caster Oil the day before my moms birthday Oct. 4 on purpose they could share the same birthday. It worked but if I would have known I would have done it sooner.

Now Ashley looks so small to us. Emily was really tall and had much bigger feet. Ashley has short legs and little feet but she has really grown this past year. She has moved up a size in shorts and pants too!!! Ashley does NOT eat much at ALL. But she still grows she loves milk and peanut butter sandwiches. Ashley is crazy and wild. Emily and her fight all the time. But then Ashley is hugging her telling Emily best friends forever!! I love you Ashley and you look just like your mama!!

Chloe, just a pause on her.

My sweet baby, girl I have to talk about her for a second to record her milestones and personality at almost 14 months!!! OMG where has time gone! Anyway Chloe is the baby and knows it. Michael and I have deiced no more kids at this point in our lives we want to enjoy the three beautiful girls GOD gave us. Chloe has an opinion about everything she grunts a lot, smiles, screams, laughs and bites. I need to record her and post it. She has that scream that could break ear drums the other girls don't have that. She is the kid that screams in a restaurant. She is pretty easy going as long as you are holding her if she does not like something or someone you know. The picture I posted is her eating her dinner. If she does not like a piece of food she places it in the left side of her tray. It is so funny. She now throws fits if you tell her no and then will bite Michael or me. She did this in church this past Sunday in the class we were helping in. The people were shocked at her behavior. Well Chloe is sweet and is loved by so many her great blue eyes light brown hair almost brown, and tan skin. She is a sweet baby that is HUGE!!! She is scared of many things horses up close, slides, Mr. Jim, and being hung up side down. (ohh Uncle Joe too.) See previous post video about slide.

Another Bath outside!!! Plus Chloe.

So on this night after dinner Chloe was awake so we all went out and played in the water. It is so HOT here right now that even the hose water is warm. Going to the pool is gross it is like "human soup." No joke the water at the pool has to be like 85-90 degrees. So we hide inside all day or do play dates in doors and play in the water in the evening if it is not too hot.
