Changing, and growing

I have no picture to share of her at the moment but Emily is growing up. Tomorrow is July 1st and only 20 more days then tell her birthday!! I can't believe she will be six!! She has her first loose tooth, like pretty good loose. She is getting her six year molars also, and she is reading. The beginner level 1 books but she is reading. With little to know help. She can read a mean Biscuit book.

We have been doing homework everyday!!! Well almost I try to give her some breaks. Doing lots of math and reading. Practice counting by 5, 10, 15 and so on. Doing adding and subtraction. Emily is in bed now, she just got out of bed to tell me she read the book Mittens all by her self. Best part I did not even ask her.

So I need to take one last picture of those baby teeth you never know when they will start falling out! I am going to miss those baby teeth.

I can't believe soon I will have a 6, 3, and 2 year old where is the time going. Off to go make decorations for her party. I am seeing lots of Hello Kitty.

The other day

Monday I posted on Facebook that I spent 10 minutes arguing with a 2 year old about what she was going to wear. She is a princess and does not like certain clothes at certain times. The above picture is what she wore that day. It's not a good shot. It is a ruffle tier creme skirt with Tull. And a pink and light pink tank top with a skirty bottom. She looks like a cup cake with that skirt on and shirt. It has been hot but rainy, in fact Sunday, Monday and Tuesday it rained all day. It cramps my day, there is not much to do in the rain, and it is still really HOT!

The good news is the sun has come out, and we have gone to the pool twice already 1 time each day.

Crazy Chloe and her fashion issues. I have never had a kid be so picky so early in life and shoes are a whole different story. You don't even want to know.

The Circus is coming...

Really the circus came and went long ago, serious like May. We just got our pictures back today for real. I know totally un organized. We are still waiting on our DVD's of that actual recital. Anyway Ashley had a lot of fun, she made some friends and I loved all the moms too. We had some great conversations during practice. Chloe got loved on by everyone I will miss this next year. But I can't deal with the un organization of it all any longer. So we will try Gymnastics.

Waterballon Fight!!

So Friday I got to spend the afternoon with my nephew's, their mom the world famous photographer had to work!! Anyway so I planned some fun while we had the boys. I got a slip an slide. cleaned the kiddie pool in the back yard. (my legs are still sore from doing that.) and Filled up about 50-60 water ballons. We had lots of fun, I even did the slipn' slide a few times on my knees not my stumch I am no spring chicken anymore. We had the water ballon fight and between the six of us those water ballons lasted about 7 minutes. A lot of work for 7 minutes of fun but it was worth it. I think. I got some good video of the kids slipping too. Too bad this part of the fun only lasted about 1 hour tops then its off to the next thing. What is wrong with kids today they get so board so quick!! Well I had too and that is all that counts right?

Off to the pool!!

Pool ready and for the record Emily said she closed her eyes on purpose. Stinker.

Yesterday

There are no pictures of what we did yesterday morning. Jenny with her boys met me at the movies and I took the four big kids to the movies. Chloe stayed at home with grandma. It was a win, win I was happy to leave Chloe and grandma was happy to have Chloe, and Chloe was happy to be with grandma. Chloe loves her some grandma time since grandma will carry her everywhere.

Since the weather was getting better in the afternoon I took the girls to the pool. It was a action packed Thursday to make up for the boring Wednesday.
The girls slept good last night!!

Wednesday

So Wednesday we did not leave the house all day. This puts me in a bad mood. But there was not anything to do, it was raining I needed to clean out the craft closet. While I cleaned they crafted. I think they got the better end of the deal.

Here are the other girls painting with finger paints. I did not think this would go well for Chloe since she hates to get dirty but she did good.


In fact I think she loved it. I was reading a blog the other day about letting your creative monster out. I think Chloe had one. Now mind you things don't last long for Ashley and Chloe but it was good while it lasted.

First day of Summer.

First day of summer and we have a bad case of the June gloom. It's been on and off raining today. Poor Michael is working outside today, he had to wait on his job while it was lighting.

Yesterday on the last day of Spring it was warm, hot and great pool weather. We went to the pool and the bottoms of my feet are sore to prove it. Spending that much time in a salt water pool really softens feet.

So today on the first day of summer we got stuck in some traffic had to turn off a car was on fire. Spent an hour in the car driving to Franklin, bought Emily's birthday party invites. Went to Chick-fil-a with some friends, and Old Navy. The girls did really well.

Chloe has taken two naps today, hope she wakes up in a good mood. If the rain stays strong I have no plans... Thursday it's suppose to rain and we are doing the dollar movies. I know it's hot in July but the pool is free everything else is NOT! Can't wait, for June gloom to be gone.

Camera

I am promising to start carrying the camera around more with me. I missing the kids summer which is sad to me. Here is a picture of Ashley wearing Caleb's clothes since she got wet at Aunt Jenny's house and did not want to go home wet. She loved wearing Caleb's clothes all day.


Here is my promise to use my camera more. We are headed to the pool this morning while a cleaning lady comes and cleans the house. This goes back to I am lazy have lost all motivation and I am burnt out!!! So I am treating my self.
This is suppose to be the only day this week it does not rain! Ugh. What will we do? I may loose my mind.

First trip to the beach

So here is one of the last blog stops I will do about California. Our 2 hours at the beach. This was Ashley and Chloe's first time at the beach. Emily went when she was two but she does not really remember. We are going to try and get to the beach at the end of the summer. The good beaches the ones in Florida or maybe Alabama.

Anyway my mom met us at the beach, the girls had fun digging in the sand and when I say girls I mean Emily and Ashley not Chloe. Chloe would not touch the sand she would scream. Can't really blame her since Santa Monica is not all that great. I am glad we did not stay too long because the sun was brutal Michael got fried, so did all of us. Even the tops of Michael's feet. My mom was a good sport meeting us a couple of hours, enjoying the girls first trip to the beach. She brought spoons and towels.

Can't wait for our next trip to the beach!

The 2nd Chloe party

We did a family party for Chloe on Saturday after her birthday on Friday for family and daddy. It was lots of fun too. We added aunt Jenny's name to the cake because her birthday is June 9th, the day before Chloe's. They would not induce me on Jenny's birthday I ask. The girls uncle and Michael's brother Joe is also born June 13th I was thinking of having Chloe on his birthday but I could not hold Chloe in any longer I was done. We have a lot of birthday's in this family!! Aunt Jenny got Chloe this beautiful dress up tutu that Chloe just loves as well. So now consider me caught up on Chloe's birthday!!

Next major stop in the birthday chain is Isreal then EMILY (oohh our friend Blake, too)!!!

Updates...

I have been overwhelmed with no drive to blog. So I have lost steam on the California trip and even on Chloe's birthday. I am sorry.

This is how my sweet girl naps, dress up is her life she likes two outfits best this fairy one and a pink ruffle one that my mom got Chloe, but my mom has never seen.

Chloe slept in the purple fairy one today at nap. Does it look cozy to you because not to me.

Ohh also the pink tutu swim suit Lea got her for her birthday she wears that one even when she is NOT going to the pool.

So the point of this post so I can shift this paper work some place else. Chloe is 35 3/4" tall this is 93%. She is 32lbs fat. This too is 93%.

I have lost all motivation this month I have the summer lazy's too I guess because I need to do crap booking too. (scrapbooking.) I can't be that mom where Emily has more then the other two. Ugh. I will say I think Kindergarten is Emily last book.

I have no more babies!!

So Chloe got the front of her crib taken off her bed on Saturday night after her family birthday party. She is now sleeping in a big girl bed!! She is doing great. Way better then the other two did. It's about time.

Very exciting news!!

Very exciting!! Emily learned to tie her shoes it took about 10 minutes and she cried the whole time!!! It was awful, but she can do it now!!

So can Ashley if you walk with her through it. Next year Ashley will learn a whole two years early, I am sure.
