Upstaging

So like I said in the post before this was about 45 minutes of our lives. I could not have laughed more and been more embarrassed then any other time in our family's lives.

So I had the camera with me to take pictures of Chloe getting all her hair hacked off. But turns out I am glad I had the camera to document Ashley most embarrassing moment. In true Ashley fashion she upstaged her sister.
She just kept saying to Michael "daddy I want to go home, now." She pulled the fire alarm. Michael herd a hard click looked down and she had pulled the leaver. How could you not want to pull the leaver. So it is the loudest sound I have ever herd in my life. There were a tone of people waiting to get their hair cut. The ladies at the hair cut place just went about their business and said "the fire department, has to come turn it off." well let's see 10 minutes later, the police showed up... then about 15 minutes later the fire department showed up. They were not in a hurry I can tell you that. It took about another 15 minutes for them to figure out who had the key and how to turn it off. Humm so I guess you could say it was good practice. In case it happens again. The girls will need more hair cuts.

So there it is. Ashley pulled the alarm and Michael just threw her under the bus, any one who asked who did it we said "she did." Pointed at the cute dark brown haired, brown eyed girl. Good thing she is so cute other wise they might have taken her to jail.

How could you not want to pull this? I can say that I have wanted to but never have. I guess I have the thing you have to hold your self back I am at a loss of words right now.

Getting the hair did.

Ugh I wish I could figure out loading the pictures better. I thought I got them in the right order but they are backwards in the right order. So scroll to the bottom and work your way up or cheat and and see the after first.

Can I say this was so eventful I have to create two post on this 45 minute experience.

So I could not take it any longer I had to cut Chloe's hair. I wanted to do it Saturday morning but Chloe fell asleep before we got there. And now if you wake up Chloe before she is done napping there is no getting a second or real nap out of her.
So when Michael got home from working the morning we went and got a late lunch and get Chloe's hair cut. Chloe is such a good girl, the hair cut is not perfect because no one should have to work under the conditions that this woman had to cut hair under and plus Chloe is 20 months old she does not sit still much. But she did really good. So it got all chopped off. I think the lady thought I was crazy. I am one of the few moms who likes to cut my girls hair. My kids are born with hair I do not watch for every little hair to grow like the mommies who's babies are born with no hair. There is nothing wrong with that I just hate when it looks all messy, and wild. My kids look messy and wild any way their hair does not need to help the situation.

Anyway I cut Chloe's hair well not me some lady. But Michael and I are really happy with the way it looks. Cindy says it makes her cheeks look bigger I say what does not make her cheeks look bigger.

So when you see my baby she lost a lot of hair but it will look so cute when it all grows out one length.

And for you mom...

Nana's been shopping retail therapy is what they call it. My mom has been not feeling great a back thing. But she has been shopping for the girls.

Here are some pictures of Ashley and Chloe you can't see there clothes mom but Chloe is wearing her purple tutu outfit, and Ashley is wearing the hot pink hello kitty shirt. So thank you mom, for all the goodies too.

The picture of the two of them well 1 and half of them comes from me telling Ashley act like you love Chloe. I thought it was cute...

Photobucket

A whole post just for you...

thank you, Nicole. Nicole is my sweet friend who has two cute as can be kids, her husband is Emily and her son's soccer coach. Nicole made Ashley's day with a pair of Lille Kelly shoes. They barely fit Ashley but she loved them. She also gave Ashley a pair of converse sparkle shoes. This broke Hazel's heart that her shoes were too small for her but fit Ashley.

They are the orange sandals that Ashley's toes are sticking out over in the pictures. But no worries because Chloe is eyeing those sandal's and she will have them some day...

The pink shoes bring back memories for Nicole and I when Hazel had a pair exact the same. Ashley use to steal them. I sent my mom hiking all over LA with a picture in her phone looking for these shoes. They are a Nordstrom rack shoe from Stride Rite. My mom found them and when Ashley got them she slept with them for weeks, before they even fit her feet. They now fit Chloe, Chloe likes them but she does not love them like Ashley and Hazel did.

So thank you Nicole for the goodies you gave the girls today.

So many thoughts

I have had many thoughts to post but no pictures to go with them. Just thought whirling around in my head. I have been so busy this week I took a personal day today. I don't think that works to well when you have kids but I guess I mean I am not doing much of anything to do with outside of the home. The girls and I skipping bible study today, I felt like I need to be at home today. I have been fighting a sore throat, and did not want to get a cold. I have not had a cold since November. That is really good considering that Michael was sick for the last two weeks of December.

My house is a mess and I needed to work on that too. Yesterday I got to have a fun lunch with out kids with two friends and a third joined us later. Before I had to pick up Ashley at school and Chloe at Cindy's. I am thankful to have friends to have lunch with and I am thankful for school and Cindy too. It was fun so I guess between yesterday and today I have gotten some much needed rest/me time. It does not come easy for me and that is okay.

I have been struggling with being a room mom. I am a co-room mom, it is a lot of work. I hate to always ask for money for things. I don't know that I will do this again. My co-room mom is great we work well together, its just hard to always bug parents for money with little to no response.

I am also helping to plan a baby shower for a friend I think it will be a lot of fun. I am looking forward to that.

We did our taxes so yes!!! We will be going to California for SURE!! We have a long list of to do's this year and California was at the top after Michael's grandma passed away late last month.

I took the girls to Emily's dance class last night after talking on the phone all afternoon about school money, doing a tea party dinner that Emily had been begging for. We got there with just enough time and they said you didn't get the email? Class has been canceled... Yep I am done. So we dance tomorrow night, and a teacher party at 2pm on Friday. So I think I will take the girls out for dinner Friday night.

Gotta go I need to do the dishes clean the kitchen and I think Chloe is spitting on Ashley. Good news is Ashley taught her that, so Ashley can't get that mad.

Looking back...

Looking back on this winter I feel like I complained a lot. I should apologize to Michael and the girls. I am a Cali girl at heart and having snow for so many days just did not sit well with me.
So let me say with that the past two weeks has been wonderful it has been warm, above 40 degrees, I know my standards are low. About 60's, I think the warmest day was 70 on Sunday still breezy. But that is good. I love the sunshine I am even looking forward to the time change and my kids sleeping patterns getting all jacked up again. 20 more days tell day light savings begins. I like it warm and sunny just remind me of this in August when it 100 degrees and 100% humidity. I will be at the pool.

Yesterday was a great day. It was presidents day, so no school again. But we had a fun play date with lots of friends. We had a thirty minute lul in the day before the cousins showed up the new ones and "old ones," too. I use "old" loosely 2, and 5. It was lots of fun, for all the kids and the boys are very well behaved. Isabella did really good too. Irelynn is a bit of a loner but was having fun crafting it up with stickers and stamps. It kept a lot of kids busy for lots of time today. The girls jumped, and jumped, and jumped. They were so sleepy at 4pm ish when everyone left. But they all made it through dinner, baths, story time and a bit of running around before bed.

So thank you for the Sunshine today giving me a better mood and a all around better attitude. I think I had about 7 kids in the morning plus my 3 and then 4 in the afternoon. So no pictures.

100 days of school, well not really

I am loving kindergarten lots of fun dress up days just wish they weren't all in one week. They celebrate the 100th day of school and it is a great idea. Normally the 100th day of school is in January but with all the snow days it was in February and if you really got out a calendar it is really not tell later this week. But with all the snow days things are backed up at school. So Monday Sock Hop, and Friday was dress like you are 100 years old.

I traveled far and wide to look for silver hair spray paint, but no luck lots of cover up gray products... So I went with silver glitter hair spray paint. Did not work out so well but ohh well considering only 4 other kids beside Emily in her class dressed up. I know one of her friends wanted to dress up but he had the flu. Some of these parents/kids are no fun. Not really I guess they don't like to dress up.
The little girls and I enjoyed a nice day at the park. I held back from going to school. I need to let go a little again I feel like I am taking on too much. Or maybe just recovering still from Monday.

Long weekend ahead. But since I am typing this on Monday I will say so far great weekend.

See this is how I found her...

Photobucket

I finally have it!!

I finally have the daughter that loves everything girly, pink, glittery, frilly, ruffley, shiney, dress up cute. But can I tell you the truth she is the third girl and I am OVER it, I don't have the patience for it. I love it I think it is cute but I get over it real quick. For 5 days Chloe had on a petie coat or fairy costume and would not take it off in the car. I will say I would rather deal with buckling a fairy costume then listen to her scream for me taking it off.

My house is covered in socks and shoes right now that Chloe has drug out from the laundry room to try on. Emily's Hello Kitty rain boots, Ashley soccer socks, socks on her hands. It is a bit ridicules I try and enjoy it and not let it bother me.

Emily is girly but with a tom boy spin, she is not into pink. Ashley likes pink but she also likes comfy clothes not dressy girly stuff. Chloe is upstairs right now making a mess I am sure with dress up clothes shoes or both. The only thing is her hair, she is still not big on bowes, or putting her hair up. She has figured out that moving the hair out of her face is a good idea!!

(sorry for all the made up girl-ish words, spell check did not like it either.)
Photobucket

Thanks Ma!!

So can I tell you that I am blessed. I have a wonderful mommy who spoils my kids rotten, well not really rotten but she spoils them real good. So today the girls all wore their new dresses to church and school. So I got a few pictures this morning and then we got another package today with the sparkle shoes for Ashley and Chloe and a purple dress for Emily. If you don't know Emily's signature colors are purple and yellow is huge right now hence the yellow poodle skirt.

I love that my mom sends gifts for the girls they love their Nana and love getting presents from her. But let me clear up if my mom was poor and never sent anything this would be okay too. She also sends singing cards you know the ones I am talking about. They are lots of fun until Valentines day rolls around and we have three singing, three different songs. Ugh, can you imagine. i told my momma that next time she sends three at once it might be better to send three of the same song, that way it will just be like they are singing in rounds not just pure crazy.

So thank you momma for shoes, hat, dresses, and everything else you do. It is truly appreciated. Now all three of my friends and you who read this blog know now. HAHA, I know really like 5 people read not 3. I guess I should note Chloe has been a big time HAM bone lately with taking pictures Ashley not so much. Emily is good and just goes with the picture flow.

Picture it!!

I picked up 4 little ones at school today. It was pretty funny I am sure for the other moms watching me load 4 kids into the car. Only one was mine, Chloe was already in the car. Ashley was so excited to have not 1, or 2 but three friends coming home with her. I must say I loved it too. I have to enjoy this time of knowing all of my kids friends. Right now with Emily I know her "old friends" pre school but the "new friends" at school not so much. I enjoy helping out my friends, and it is a challenge but fun to take care of that many kids.

I love that when the boys daddy came to pick them up they did not want to leave. Sucess, this is something that Michael and I have always talked about we want our house to be a place that the kids want to go to that our girls will want to bring their friends over. This is our goal for years and years to come and it is already working!! HAHAHA!!! When the little girls mommy and sister came to pick her up again they did not want to leave. It was fun to sit and chat with the mommy while the kids played.

I am enjoying these warm Spring days in Febuary, I don't think they are going to last. I am enjoying my day a week with just Chloe. She is getting so big she was being a stinker in the car on the way home trying to climb out of her car seat. But almost 6 years of kids its okay I kind of just have to laugh.

Emily's Sock Hop/Party

Yes she danced with at least three different boys.

Please Mrs. Pantall don't be mad at me for the picture. She was the only teacher to dress up. I must say Emily has the best teacher!!!
