$1 movies on a Tuesday

Monday was one of those days that should just be forgotten. The girls were worn out a busy Sunday and Chloe has not been feeling good. She has her 6th ear infection in less then a year. That just sums it up. Tubes are in her future...I think we just have to wait tell are 9 month pre-exisiting is up.
Tuesday the girls and I decieded to go see the dollare movie in Franklin. It was Ice Age the first one...I thought it was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I love that movie I guess I was just hopin.' Well we went can I say it is crazy there was so many people there people were even sitting on the floor!!! We sat right in front the movie was alright a little sad. It is about bring a baby back to its dad the mom dies. Emily can NOT handle movies like this. She is very senstive. Michael and I never plan to divorce but honestly I don't think Emily could handle it. Chloe did really good through the movie just give her a coke yes I said coke and some popcorn, and she happy. Ashley said "this is a really BIG movie." We were right in front we were close but at least we had seats. It was a nice break in the day and something to do inside. We are going to be outside all weekend and so I have decieded that we need a break from the sun. The pictures I posted are of Chloe and her "crankieness" since again she has not been feeling well. We have meds and are on the mend. She also looks so cute I did her hair for the first time!! She did not like it. Also she is wearing a shirt my friend Nicole made. Love it but it is getting too tight. LOL.

Sunday Chloe woke up with a runny nose and Michael worked tell like 10pm on Saturday we decided no church today. Let Chloe and Michael rest, Michael also had more work to do at home. Later after work was done we decided to go play because that it what you do when you have a one year old who needs rest you drag her along. LOL. Michael's dad found a swimming hole off the duck river and we decided to check it out. It was great lots of fun, a little meerky but warm. We are embracing being a Tennessean and swimming in rivers with the snakes, sturgeons and snapping turtles. There I go getting off track again. Well it was lots of fun Emily took to it right away who knew she would be such a river rat. Ashley was nervous but had every right to be she almost drown on Friday. And Chloe is Chloe she again has not been feeling well but loved it!! Uncle Joe and grandma showed up with Isabella, Irelynn, Shania, Loryn and Brody. So lots of fun was had with lots of kids. I will admit it made be very nervous for the little kids but we had fun. Loryn lost a flip flop, Shania did too. Some very nice "rednecks" found Loryns flip flop and brought it back to us the advantages of having a HOT PINK flip flop. Shania was not so lucky with her black flip flop. And uncle Joe lost his glasses Irelynn threw them in the water. We had a great time we came not really prepared to stay long but stayed almost three hours. The girls and us had a really fun time, will have to do it again. On the down side Monday morning Emily and Ashley said their tummies hurt and Ashley had diarrhea but I don't know if it was all by chance, but of course I think the kids are dying from the duck river. A little rest and they say they feel better. We are going to take it SLOW the rest of the week since we are going to the smokie mountains this weekend for 4th of July.

I need a gold medal or something.

Today I took Loryn my niece(11), and Michael's cousins kids Brody(9) and Shania(11) to the mall with my three kids today. All and all the kids did really good. Candy was used at one point to keep kids quite but it was a good trip. This made me think of the years to come, I could have a 14 year old, a 12year old, and 11 year old all at once or worse. At what point are they all going to want new clothes and not so many hand me downs? At what point will Chloe be taller then Ashley yes I think this will happen. Ashley is my little peanut. We better hit the lottery because money is going to go quick. A hundred dollars between 3 kids and lunch for all went fast. I need to teach my girls about chores and allowance, Michael has been working on that with Emily already, but we need to do more. They are really going to have to "earn money" to get what they want. Sign my kids up for baby sitting and dog walking. I pray my girls have good attitudes as they get older and understand that mommy and daddy love them very much but can NOT always buy them what they want.

Ashley loved having a brother for a couple of hours she really like Brody. He was very sweet to her. I wish the girls had a brother to help stick up for them. Maybe one day the door will open up for Michael and I to adopt a brother for the girls. I would truly love that. I want a mamma's boy, I have three daddies girls. My girls did great today shopping for other kids they did not get anything them selves besides a lolly pop and lunch. I was truly proud of my girls and me, and the big kids too. We blended well I think, but you might want to check with the big kids.

Butterflies, Social butterflies!

Thursday morning I was getting the girls ready for their last day of Fairy school. Ashley Noticed that our butterflies had hatched!! So cool, in the morning there were 4 hatched, we looked took above pictures. The papers that came with the butterflies said to soak a towel in sugar water and put flowers. I soaked a towel and we put A flower. We don't have a lot of flowers the girls pick them I can't grow anything.
So that evening after dinner we looked at the butterflies and there was now 6! But 4 were dead!!! Yikes again can't grow anything thank GOD the kids and dog have made it this long. So 4 out of the six butterflies are dying that is right they are not completely dead. So we release the two alive butterflies and take the 4 dead ones down to show Ella. What little girl does not like to see dead butterflies or should I say dying butterflies. Emily was so happy to get to go out and see someone. Emily is my social butterfly!! She loves to go places and do things. I know I have done this to her. But with two little sisters and daddy not working two days in the middle of the week there was no place to go.
Later that night I told Michael how 4 out of the 6 butterflies had died. I thought it was from the sugar water towel and the butterflies had gotten their wings wet, because they were all stuck to the towel. Michael had another idea. We have had a million flies in the house the girls are always opening doors, letting in said flies in. So we have this bug thing that just kills them from an oder it omits. Michael thinks it was also killing the butterflies. RIP butterflies, RIP. I hope we did not kill you with the fly killer because the flies are still here. Michael killed 3 flies in our room before he could go to bed last night. Again wish I had the video camera. But, I know Michael would not be happy if I posted a video of him killing flies in his boxers with a t-shirt. I am enjoying posting the days events the day after. The girls are watching cartoons and I get to remember the good stuff. Let me tell you Fridays post is already off to a rocky start!! Pray for me.

Horse around Wednesday!!

Wednesday morning we went to the pool with some friends. Emily and Isreal were having fun pushing each other in the pool. With in the the first minute of being there Isreal already caught a frog. Yes we have lots of frogs at our pool. Kinda cool and really gross. Ashley got pushed in the pool, she was a little upset but was okay with it and she survived. Chloe pooped at the pool for the first time, luckily we were getting ready to leave. Everyone loves Chloe's "glory," chub, fat rolls, whatever you want to call it.
Later that evening Michael and I with the kids in tow went down to grandma and grandpas house. Grandma has some guest staying with her that wanted to meet us. Judy is one of the moms who helped "home school" Michael when he was a kid. She and Cindy are still friends and she came to visit with three of her grandkids. Ariel is the same age as Loryn my niece who is also visiting her daddy. Alena (not sure of spelling) is 6 and her brother William who is 5 today 6-24-10. Ashley really took to Will, as she called him. At one point even calling him "my brother Will." No such luck Ashley no brothers here!! After dinner Marvin got Chance the horse out. He is a 28 year old TN walker horse that the kids love to ride. He does not seem to enjoy giving rides. LOL. The kids had so much fun riding the horse. Ashley is a natural, Chloe screamed the whole time with Michael, and Emily thinks its okay. Ashley is a natural leaning in with the ride and wanting Grandpa and Chance to walk faster. Chloes is so afraid of everything so no big surprise she was scared. Emily was upset she ended up being last because she had to go potty, but she rode twice once with Ashley. All in all it was a great time at grandma and grandpas lucky it was cool enough to be outside. Again it has been so hot here. Thank you grandma for feeding all of us. You are so kind. Again no pictures always forget the camera.

Tuesday...I am loosing track of my days.

Today was not your average Tuesday. Michael did not have work today!! Sad because no work no money, but it is always nice to have him home. Emily (4) and Ashley (2) have been going to ballet camps. This week is Fairy week. They go Tuesday and Thursday and they have so much fun. Ella one of their friends is going too and the "homeless" girl down the street. They got their nails painted today and faces. I should have taken a picture but I forgot. I feel like as a parent I should always have a camera around my neck. That would be fun... a camera on my neck a baby on my hip, another kid holding my hand and Emily always holds Chloe's foot. This is how we cross a street or walk across a parking lot. (also a video camera on hand). Anyway I am loosing focus. This is what I mean about loosing track of my days Michael being home after a day of work screws me up. Emily's face paint was so pretty I loved it but it got washed off very quick from the "HOT TUB." The girls spent over two hours playing in there it so HOT. Tuesday night I have been doing a bible study at church, so I had to make dinner and then scoot out the door. But to night at dinner was so funny. We grabbed the video camera. Ashley was wiped out she is 2 and half and does not always want to take a nap. Saying the word "bed" or "bedtime" to her is the worst thing to say to her. But today she could have used a nap. We ate dinner at 5:45 or so and she was falling a sleep while she ate. The funny part was I have never seen her eat so much. She was chowing down while falling asleep. Ashley never stops never holds still, she is always on the move. I love her dearly she is my little monster. She gets away with so much because she looks just like me, how can I get mad at myself. Michael has a hard time too, he loves me so much it is like looking at me. My poor parents I don't know how they did it. Because on top of everything Ashley is I also did not sleep period Ashley does sleep at night for the most part. The night of this video she went to bed at 6pm woke up at 7:15 am or so. 1st post EVER!! Chloe is 1.

So I want to start a blog to remember more things about the girls. I scrapbook but by the time I scrapbook I forget the little things. Chloe turned one a little over a week ago. We had some of her sisters friends over for cup cakes. And lots of cousins. At one years old you do not have a big group of friends. LOL. You were not sure about your cupcake...but once you tasted it, you were into it. You had a fun day. Aunt Jenny came early and took some pictures of You, sisters and Nana. Nana was in town for Chloe's first birthday. -At one years old Chloe is learning to walk, you will take two steps. We call you a two stepper. You love for your sisters (mainly Ashley) to walk you around the house. Ashley loves to cheer for you. -You have 8 teeth in front and getting your 1 year molars all 4 of them at once. -You love Killer and call him DA like for Dog but its funny we call him Killer. But it is like you know that he is a DOG. You pat your leg and call him. -You say DADA or hi DAD, you say momma it was your first word. -You like to point at things. (this is very new for you) -You LOVE, LOVE to eat. -You LOVE to laugh and LOVE your sisters. -We call you Birdie, daddy use to call you BERT but he did not want it to stick. -You have the best blue eyes. Chloe, Daddy and Mommy LOVE you very much. Happy Birthday.
