This weeks meals

So I am still sticking to my once a week shopping trips. I am doing really well. Although we did run out of milk yesterday. But in our family that is not a huge deal.

So this week on the meal plan.
Saturday - a salad with chicken grill cheese for the kids. Cucumbers, carrots, apples on the side.
Sunday - Steak, potato, veggie
Monday- Burgers and hot dogs fries
Tuesday- Pork chops
Wednesday- Chicken and green bean bake
Thursday- taco's
Friday- Pizza homemade

Hives

So Ashley's hives got worse. Then Kristen called and gave us sample packs of steroids!! It is almost all cleared up!!! Tomorrow it should be gone, I pray it is gone.

Ashley's moment

Ashley has some HIVES right now. So I took her to the doctor to see what is going on. They know nothing as do I, she must have touched something she should not have. But I did have her iron checked while we were there because she likes to sample chalk. Her iron is fine she is just experimenting... um already?? Anyway she is very "oral" I guess... Michael is the same way. Did I mention she tried weed and feed fertilizer also!! Nice I know. Good news she did NOT die.

Ashley's clothes have been a bit big on her recently her clothes are falling off. But she has been gaining weight. She is now 43 lbs that is good for Ashley I think she is thinning out and growing taller not a good combo for my peanut. I use the word peanut loosely because she is NOT that small really. Just compared to her Amazon sisters she is. Ashley is in the 83% tile for weight. My growing girl. I hope the hives are almost done I hate not knowing what is bugging her.

This week's meals

So I did not do an update on what was for dinner this week. Let me re-cap.
Friday- was pizza little Ceaser's (fake sleep over)
Saturday- Steak, Potatoes, and broccoli
Sunday- Chili for Michael and I noodles and Dino chicken nuggets for the girls and Cornbread!!
Monday Chicken pot pie
Tuesday was Pot roast
Wednesday Fajitas
Thursday is chicken, Alfredo, broccoli

That was as far as I got this week. It is hard to keep it different! I took advantage of the few cooler days we had.
Friday I now know will be little drum sticks, edamame and something else but I forget now!! Oops. I still have only been going once a week. I was at Target today for meds for Ashley and got some Cliff bars for Michael, Ashley and Chloe and I got some cucumbers and carrots. My girls love, love to eat those as snacks. Weird I know but I will take it!!

Chloe's room

So I was lazy. I never took a picture of the girls rooms when they were re-done. Here is Chloe's room we cleaned it up today. Her new desk that she still needs a chair for. She got Ashley's bed, dresser, and night stand. Chloe has the smallest room so the smaller bed made better sense. She has more room to play in there now also. I want to get her some fun new curtains!

Emily no forgotten

Can't leave Emily out. She got her hair braided the day I curled the other twos hair. They are all growing so fast.

Ashley is awesome

So Ashley found curlers she wanted me to curl her hair I told her she had to sleep in them. I told her we needed to straighten her hair first. She agreed to it all on. She said if we left them in too long she would look like a freak!! Where does this kid get this from? Well in the morning it did not turn out well... She hated it. We tried to work with it. But by later in the day I had to put her hair in a pony. She reminds me of when I was a kid. Always wanting my mom to do my hair and then hating it when it was time to go to school or any place.

I curled Chloe's hair for the first time on Thursday. It looked really cute. One thing I love about my girls... Doing their hair.

Fake sleep over

So here is the one picture I took at the fake sleep over. The girls had a great time. Afterwards Chloe was so wound up she had a hard time falling asleep. She snuck down stairs to cuddle with daddy and passed out. Hazel and Ashley get along so well. I guess since they have spent the last 4 and half years of there lives seeing each other at least once a week most weeks. I wish Emily had that with a girl and the mom and I were close also. It makes it so easier. I love that Hazel loves Chloe too. Good group of girls.

Update on groceries

So last week went well. I did not go to the store once during the week. I had everything I needed for the whole week for meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was very proud of my self. I did switch the nights of somethings. For veggie freshness. And Tuesday we did have left overs down at grandma's so that made my meals last until Saturday Friday even better. I went to the store Saturday night after dinner. We did eat breakfast out on Saturday and lunch out on Sunday. But that is good with me. I did run out of cheese on Friday for Michael's sandwich but he was okay with that and I ran out of apple juice but we still had other juice so the Ashley and Chloe were okay. And Ashley was mad that I would not go to the store to buy Orange juice... she has never liked it but all of the sudden that is all she wants.

I was actually really more board during the week because I did not half to go to the store and so I did not go to the store. This week I don't know if it will go as well since I need to go to Costco and stock up on meat. :( So here is this week so far I will let you know how it goes.

Saturday was Crispy Chicken with Asparagus and bread.
Sunday was home made pizza
Monday was Stir fry (w/steak) with rice and veggies.
Tonight is spaghetti with left over sausage from pizza on Sunday. ( I am trying to use my leftovers.)
Wednesday I will do Turkey meat burritos, beans.
Thursday should be steak and broccoli and potatoes (if I get to Costco)
Friday is fake sleep over night for Ashley, Chloe and Emily with Hazel.So I will pick up pizza at little Ceasers for the girls.
Then start over from there.

I will say it is helping my grocery bill because when I go for the extras I always end up with more food in my cart then what I came for. I know nothing exciting but you might find it useful.

Easter lunch

Some of my Easter pictures must be corrupt. I can't post them. This is the Easter crew of kids this year. Only family no friends they were all missed!!

Sunnin my feet

I love my feet. ;) my nail color is kind of a red-ish orange. In car rider line to pick up Emily. She is going to be mad the private lesson this week was cancelled. Wish me luck.

A personal day

Emily took a personal day today. Haha. She skipped out on school to rest. She slept tell 8 am so she was late for school any way. The girl wasted away the morning with Tv. We took a break for lunch and homework. The girls colored and drew pictures. In the afternoon we took advantage of some money that great grandma sent the girls and had sweet cece's and the girls got pedicures. When we got home there was more tv watching and Chloe played play-doh. After dinner there was make up. ;). Now bath and bed time. Only one personal day a year . ;)

Easter morning

Emily was mad that she did not get any candy and there was no hidden eggs. Lik I said I have been a one man show I was tired. Michael was working late on Saturday night trying to finish up a job. But we saved the morning with breakfast and some silly princess movie. I had too cook a lot of stuff and prepare a lot of stuff for Easter.

The girls each got a book/dvd some coloring pages, sunglasses and water bottle.
Not much this year but they loved it all. ;) There was a note from the Easter Bunny telling the girls to say hi to Mr. Hop.

Painting eggs

This year we painted eggs twice. Once with Hazel and once by our selves. Friday night, Good Friday. Michael has been working a LOT so I have been a one woman show. Keeping the girls busy not board. We have taken a break from nasty egg dye and been using paint. They girls really loved painting the eggs. Too bad you really don't do anything with hard boiled eggs anymore. I buy the cheap ones to color so I would never eat them. I threw them out after Easter.
