Almost 30!

So my last night in my 20's. Going out with just a couple of friends. Nothing crazy. Can't wait to see what my 30's bring. I can't help but think of how my girls will grow in the next 10 years. And what new adventures Michael and I will do.

A Suprise Gift.

Everyone knows I don't like surprises. But Michael did not even tell me that his parents were getting the kids a bunny for Christmas. Even though it was my idea!!!
It was a great surprise for all of us and the best part is it gets to stay at the grandparents house because it would become some sort of a snack for Killer. So here is the footage.

On Mr. Hop's name. Emily wanted to name him hop, Ashley said Hoppy. But since he is a boy not a girl. We named him Mr. Hop to remind us he is a boy. Hoppy is really a girl name. Cindy and Marv are the proud care taker of 4 bunnies. Precious is Cindy's bunny, Snowflake is Isabella's and family, owae/Tumpper is Isreal and Caleb's bunny and Mr. Hop. Each family got a bunny.

Singing at the Party.

Photobucket

So the kids sang along with a dad. It was funny because the dad did not know many Christmas songs. He was a good sport about it and so were the kids. They all loved singing there songs from two nights before.

I don't know about the quality. Sorry, it's on my iPhone.

Ashley's Christmas Party.

Ashley's Christmas party at school. One of her class mates dad's came in to sing songs it was very cute. Chloe was a crab and did not want to go. She warmed up toward the end. I did not plan this party and it was nice. I did do a game it was BINGO a Christmas theme. The kids had lots of fun and they got lots of snacks and gifts. Even reindeer food.

Winter/Christmas Concert

Here are some pictures from Ashley's concert. We got there at 6:15 and got crap seats it started at 6:30pm. Who knew this was the hottest ticket in town I guess. The pictures are bad. I have some iphone video's to post but I am sure that will be sucky also. Ohh well it was very cute Ashley did a great job. These things you always have mixed reviews. I love watching all the singing and my kid but at the same time, do I have to watch all of these kids sing?? Ashley's school has doubled in size it was 8 pm before we got home. But very cute none the less. Grandma came too, so Chloe would have a place to sit. ;)

More Fashion.

So I am trying to let Emily pic her own clothes. I don't want to cramp or change her style. This is from Tuesday she picked a purple t-shirt and jeans. Great!! Easy, basic, comfy. I don't want her to be decked out all the time just not so frumpy and in stained covered clothes. Now Ashley wanted in on the pictures and Chloe too.

I had to break out more clothes for Ashley from the bins. I love the brown cords she has on they have great detail on the pockets soft and fit pretty good. It is hard to find pants that fit Ashley that are passed down from Emily. Emily has long legs, Ashley not so much. Ashley and Chloe have my short legs. Chloe for the record went to grandma's house that day so she is wearing grandma hand made pants with horse cowboy print, they are fleece lined and Chloe loves them. Perfect for grandma's warm and momma does not care if they get dirty. And a John Deer tractor shirt because we are in the south and grandpa owns a John Deer tractor! Don't you know? 2 in fact!

Fashion

I am changing Emily's wardrobe. I am trying to make her look... more put together. Match a bit more. I know she likes to be cozy and comfy and I am sticking with that I just want her to look more put together. More mature...I guess. So over the next few weeks I am up dating her wardrobe a bit. She needs more clothes and I am just being more selective. Emily likes a bit of prepy, cozy, some sparkle. I think she dresses better in the warmer months then winter. I am trying to help guide her with her choices in clothing. Today I did pick her clothes out she did not want to wake up so I even got her dressed physically for school. I like her outfit except the pink shoes. She is wearing a pink/gray skull shirt black leggings with white ruffle socks. She really like ruffle socks. There is her bit of prepy. She also let me braid her hair that is huge for her. None of my girls like having their hair done. So I will try and take some pictures of her this week.

Chloe talking.

So I was doing something for baby Brooklyn and Chloe kept saying her name and it was really funny sounding to me. Chloe loves babies. But she does NOT want a baby. She loves baby Caroline too. Enjoy the video.

The above picture is of Killer getting a bath earlier in the week because he stinks!! Happy birthday boy you are 8 years old. Yorkies are suppose to live about 17 years. I hope that is the case for you. You love car rides.

Today Monday is my dad's birthday! He is 59 years old today. Wow next year he will be 60 years old. Happy Birthday dad!

Baby Shower.

So I am loving Pinterest. I am getting some good ideas. So I tested them out, what better place then a baby shower. The puff balls I already new how to make from the lovely Nicole. The flower balls I got off Pinterest and the rainbow-ish fruit sticks I got off Pinterest also. I forgot to buy yellow fruit. I had fun making everything for the shower. The best part is Angie liked it all and was going to take it home to put in the baby's room.

Busted sleepovers

We have not been in a rush to have a sleep over with any friends. I think there is plenty of time for that later when they get older. But Emily sprang it on me and Michael and I agreed to let her friend sleep over. I don't know how much I will allow any of the girls to sleep at some one elses house. Anyway the girls had fun. I allowed Emily to lock her little sisters out of her room. That killed Ashley and Chloe they just wanted in. But I told them no. But it was time for bed and Reese got sick. Honestly I think she was nervous about spending the night. I can't blame her. She says she threw up and maybe she did. But I think she just wanted to go home poor thing. I think 6 and 7 are too young for sleep overs. But I we gave it our best shot. Will try again but I don't know that it will be any time soon.

Specially the next morning Emily accused me of getting her friend sick since I had been sick on Wednesday and Thursday. Yep you know me causing kids all over to get sick. To ruin my kids sleep overs.

I don't know how we will do this when the girls all get older three girls all wanting friends to spend the night oh my goodness.

Busy, Busy

So Michael has been working a lot. Tis' the season, everyone wants stuff done before Christmas. The first weekend in December Nicole and I were both husband less, so we took the kids to Santa's breakfast at Ashley's school and painting ornaments at the local paint place. The kids had a lot of fun and even Nicole got her picture taken with Santa. ;) That is what her mom wanted for Christmas.

Best weekend ever!!

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend. Michael has been working ALOT. (I feel the need for it to be one word.) Super busy getting a job done. So it was nice to have him home Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!!
Thursday was great had a really nice Thanksgiving with Michael's family and one of our friends. Again the kids all play well together and I am glad we get to spend that time together. I saw this sign on Pinterest It says: Grandma's House Where cousins go to become best friends. Mission accomplished.
Infact if you come to play at grandma's house I think you become a cousin in my kids eyes.

Side story: Recently a close friend and her kids moved, plus husband. We had a good bye play date/party with them. After they left Emily said "now how many cousins do I have in TN?" I had to explain that Canden and Blake were not cousins they were just good friends. It thought it was so sweet.

Any way back to the weekend. Thursday night we suprised the girls by letting all three of them sleep over at grandma's. Isn't Grandma and grandpa the best?? I was taking Michael out for his first ever Black Friday experiance. I went last year with a friend and her sister it was crazy, awesome and cold. Everyone should do it once. Michael and I decied to keep it simple and just do Target. Close to home. We left the girls went home watched a movie Super 8. Changed our clothes to warmer and left the house at 11pm for a midnight opening. Michael was shocked at the line. I was not... experiance from last year I was just thankful it was not snowing like last year. Cold but dry is always better to me.

Anyway we waited and waited and waited. We got in got what we wanted you will laugh because we did not get any of the "big ticket items" again we went for experiance. We got 4 Razor scooter that light up exclusive to Target and for a $ 15 savings (per scooter). Hake and Jenny wanted scooters too but did not want to wait in line. Aren't we nice? We got something I can't talk about... and make up for the girls a 5 dollar savings per set. I know we are LAME. But it was fun and exciting. So the video is part of the line. Watching everyones faces was too funny when they saw the line I wish I would have gotten that on video.

Wow that is just Thursday. Friday was nice since we did not have the girls we slept in tell 9:45 woo hoo. So awesome in it's self let me say. Had breakfast and went to get the girls. Put up some of the decorations for out side.

Saturday I woke up at 5:45am and went to the Zappo's outlet with some wonderful ladies. It was so much fun. It is a 3 hour drive there and we made good time. Since we had Katie the time keeper with us. Nicole and her sister Taylor were going and Katie and I tagged along. Here is the catch husbands had to work, except mine. Michael watched Hazel and Zane from 6 am tell 3pm, when we got home, plus my three. Then at about 10:45 Chad showed up with Katie's two kids and Michael watched them also. So Michael had two 6 year olds, three 4 year olds, one 2 year old and one 1 year old. The one year old's nick name is RomyNO. If that gives you a clue.

Serious people Michael could have won husband of the year that day!! Thank you Michael. I did not get anything great but we had lots of fun shopping and talking in the 6 hour drive. Plus we had a kid free lunch!!
We also got our tree, saw cousins again. And were super tired all of us.

Sunday we decorated the tree finished the decorations outside and inside. I stayed home all day never left my jammies but to shower before bed and change into clean jammies. We all needed it before we hit the new week running again.
