Busy, tired, lazy, and COLD

Busy with Christmas around the corner I am busy. With kid stuff for school, presents, teacher presents. I have been busy specially in the "mind." Busy coming up with gift ideas. I love giving gifts but thinking of good gifts is hard!! I am also planning Emily's Christmas party at school. That is not so hard except the fact that I don't want all the kids to feel left out, and there are peanut, egg, and a dairy kid in their class.

Tired, I am always "tired" I guess I need more sleep or something. I always put off going to the doctor but maybe while my mom is here I will go one day. It runs in the family on my dads side to be b12 deficient I am wondering if that is my problem?

Lazy well I have been lazy with food. Dinner really for the girls. I don't want to hear them complain as always. Chloe has been really "picky" the past couple of weeks too. She does not like food to get her dirty right now it is really hard. Sunday night we got fried chicken at Kroger, I know Publix has better, but Kroger is closer and I had a coupon. Michael made twice baked potatoes, yummy. Monday night I made hamburgers for us, salad and Emily's favorite soup. The girls all just ate soup and salad. That is kind of good right?? Tonight is some steak meat thing from Publix because I am lazy, and did NOT want to think about what to make, with asparagus (yes my kids will eat it.) and Mac n'cheese.

At least I am trying, not really but kind of.

The other problem is it is cold!!!!! The high today was I think 28 degrees. YIKES. We had to go to the grocery store, and ballet. It is too cold for this kind of stuff. But unless we starve or not do things that my mom pays for we have to leave the house. Maybe the cold is why I am so tired, lazy and COLD. Maybe I would not feel so busy if I dreaded going out side to do my stuff. Any way Emily came home left her jacket on got two pillows, a blanket and turned on the fire place (its a switch) and laid down.

The life of a mom have to go finish dinner now.

Santa

So here it is we went and saw Santa at a school, with a Church on Sunday. I think this is the 3rd year we have done it. It is lots of fun and gets bigger and bigger every year. It is a lot of work for the moms... but the kids enjoy it. The best part is that it is free!!! It beats waiting in line at the mall and paying a fortune for pictures. And since it is with a church they still talk more about Jesus then Santa. It was so cold, this weekend so at least we had something to do for a couple of hours. Yes it took a couple of hours.

tea and toes.

It is a HOT date kind of a night over here. Michael is working late, again. So I made hot dogs and noodles for dinner with a side of olives. Emily also wanted to have a "tea party" she is obsessed with them. Easy enough it is a cold night I can make tea with dinner although the kids like their tea cold. ;) Well luke warm. So easy fix on the "tea party."

So it was a lovely tea party if you notice in one of the pictures Emily is eating her hot dog with her pinkie up. LOL. Ashley is helping her self to a "lump" of sugar. Yes I have sugar cubes for tea parties.

After a spot of tea and dinner it was on to pedi's. I choose red and green colors. We are going to See Santa tomorrow. Even though no one will see our toes we are holiday ready. It is so cold here right now. Poor Michael has been working in the cold outside. At night time he gets out his big lights to keep working. I have washed and dried his long johns for tomorrow. I am convinced it is going to snow any day now!!

So pedi's were "fun" I have painting little toes that don't hold still but they love it. Emily is the only one who can hold still so no ones toes look good. I will not have a job at the nail salon!! 5 dollar I paint your nail? Umm, NO.

Enjoy our pictures. Kids are in bed I showered. Time to sew on some buttons.

Why?

Why am I so tired? Why am I the only one in this house who can not sleep through the night? The price of being a mommy for 5 years I have gotten up in the middle of the night with all three of my kids. Now everyone sleeps all night long but me. Ugh so not fair. It is 5:21pm I am tired and hungry. Long day but I will sleep tell about 2am and then get up through out the night. Not having to pee, I won't go do anything I will just drift in and out of sleep. Maybe even have a dream that I will wake up tired from. Those are the worst.
I am tired now done ranting and have to make sure I don't burn dinner.

Emily's gingerbread girl, etc.

So here is Emily's gingerbread GIRL. She is a ballerina. She has a tutu on and lots of glitter and rhinestones.
Emily is into Yellow right now. So she wanted yellow slippers. Purple laces I did not have yellow ribbon.
This is her hair all done. I did not have yarn for hair and Emily wanted to use feathers. So we made her hair out of feathers. Doesn't everyone want green, YELLOW, white and pink hair?
Look at her mouth, it is an A,B,C pattern. Yellow eyes too.
Here is all my crafting gear the best part was I did not need to buy a thing for this project. All my craft stuff worked out!!
Emily came home from school early today because of girly troubles. SO she too was crafting away like her sisters in the other post. But she does NOT color on her self anymore. She told me today she wants to be an author, illustrator. I am okay with that, she is good at it already. She loves making up stories and coloring. Better then dancing on a pole...not that she wanted to that.

coloring away the afternoon

My girls have been coloring on them selves. Chloe I think is trying to tell me she wants her toes painted red and green for Christmas. I have given up on a wordless day it is too hard I have too much to say. Maybe this is why Ashley has a hard time not talking at school? And at home, and at dance, and any other place.

Empty out the brain, cuboards, fridge.

I have not blogged in a few days okay maybe two. But have been doing a lot of blogging lately so for me I have slowed down. I am at a loss when it comes to dinners right now. It is the age old question in my house. What is for dinner? I am hungry but nothing sounds good, I am at a loss. Tonight I think I am making burritos or taco's same thing. I have all the "fixns" (I hate that word.) to make it. Everyone likes to eat it but Chloe. It is really kind of weird too. Because Chloe pretty much likes it all.
I should buy a can of beans too.

Now I should be planning Thursdays night's meal but I am at a loss. I have broccoli so I will cook that but as far as a main dish goes I don't know. I could go "Asian" and do potstickers too. Maybe some rice. Everyone has been liking potstickers lately, but it does not sound good to me. Do you get what I am saying? I have to go buy rice but really I should go buy some other things too. But Chloe is sleeping by the time she wakes up it will be time to get Ashley and the rest of today or tomorrow involves me taking two kids to the store.

This post is turning into a grocery list. I need rice, beans, lunch stuff, fruit, hot dogs I have been wanting hot dogs not for me but for Michael and the kids it is easy to make if I go on "strike" one night. Everyone should have hot dogs right, Nicole? I should get buns too. Sunday night I was kind of on strike and made mac n cheese. Michael made himself a dinner of all the "left overs." That is really good for us.

It seems that Chloe is waking up, I have time I think to feed her and go to the store before pick up time. I should do the dishes or hang up my clothes but O well I can do that stuff with 2 or 3 kids at home.
