Cousins are the first friends of your life. Cousins are there as childhood friends. No one will ever understand your crazy family like your cousins...even if you don't talk much lately...Re post this if you have some of the best cousins in the world...and they know who they are!! I only had two cousin's growing up. Jamie and Douglas, we did not see each other much but we were friends. They lived an hour away and there were times we say each other a lot for the distance and there long periods of time we did not see each other. Especially as we got older. But I have some fond memories of spending time with them. Our family was crazy, still is. We had a nurf war one Christmas and almost knocked down the Christmas tree. We all loved to celebrate the 4th of July.
The turn around of this is we are all getting close again. Jamie has a daughter that is almost a month older then Chloe. Jamie and her husband moved here almost 3 years ago. Her in-laws moved with them too. My aunt Jamie's mom has lived here almost 2 years. Jamie still lives almost an hour away but she makes the drive to meet us quite a bit. My aunt lives even further but again still makes time to see us. Considering how busy we are all now I think it is pretty cool we can all get together a couple times a year and spend time together. My mom often says she see Jamie more now in TN then she had in the last couple of years in California. I guess when you are in a new state and don't know many people you hold on a bit tighter to your family.
I guess I am getting a bit sentimental for minute...ohh wait it is over.
