Ringing in the new year.

We have been resting a lot this last week of break in between birthdays and such. Just spending an extra long time in jammies, watching Tv as a family playing video games. It has been nice not rushing here or there. But we were starting to get stir crazy!!! NYE was a warm day and a nice break from the cold. It's raining ice right now.

So we spent the day at home and had dinner with the family at Jenny and Jake's house. It was nice the kids had lots of fun, we ate good food, (thank you Jen) and watched fireworks. Emily ran around that night in shorts, I don't think it was that warm but she did. It was nice and mellow. We were home by 8pm, kids in bed shortly after and Michael and I were both asleep before mid night except it did start to rain and and fire works were still going off. I would startle a wake a few times but the kids slept through it all.
