Dressed for sucess...

So in the past Emily's has wanted to be a "make uper." I never quite knew what that meant but I would tell her you mean a plastic surgeon to fix momma from having all of you. Lately Emily has changed her ideas of what she wants to be, I am thankful for that since I never wanted her to be a make up artist, nothing against them but you have seen the post of my mom all "did" up!!

Anyway she wants to be an artist now, an author and illustrator. This makes me happy this I can handle. She loves to draw and paint and is working on her writing. This morning Emily dressed her self, and I feel like she dressed as an artist. Not all matching I let her go out like this with me in her Hello Kitty rain boots to match. I thought it was quite Fashion forward...she wanted to draw this afternoon she got out her big art set from Christmas and she carried it to the table and I pictured my baby girl walking in New York City dressed like an artist trying to get published as a author and illustrate her own book. Can you picture it too?

The skirt is made from Cindy's sisters favorite top. Cindy, Emily's grandma had Purple finch turn a cowboy shirt into this skirt, it is so cute Nicole did a great job with it. Carol, Cindy's sister passed away this past year. Emily paired it with her purple plaid shirt from scarecrow day. I thought she might use the shirt again. Plaid is in...

Can I note it only got to 38 degrees here today.
