Emily is 6 years old almost 7. She is getting so big and grown. She does so many things for herself and her sisters now. She still can be a pain but I am really enjoying this age.
Ashley is 4 and is so funny. She still gets in to lots of trouble but I think that is part of her fun flare. She too is very independent. She does not have that let me help all the time big sister gene like Emily but she can take care of her self.
Chloe is my baby and so she is baby-ed a lot. But she is getting to the point where I don't need to constantly do things for her.
Now let me say I am a very hands on mom. Because I sound like I don't want to do anything for them. But I do, I do lots for them. I just like them to do things for them selves. I want them to be independent. They brush their teeth, they can dress them selves. Chloe did it all by herself this morning. They can put on their own shoes. Emily knows how to tie!! That is huge. I only have to wipe Chloe's butt for poop now. Chloe can buckle her seat so can all the other girls. I just have to un-buckle Chloe and that is a plus.
The girls are really growing up. I loved my babies but I had six years of babies and I am ready for the next phase. I know Michael is too.
We took a hike yesterday to try and find a fishing hole. It was too cold and we did not find one but we had fun and no one complained about walking. Now Chloe was held for the most part but her legs are still short it is hard for her to walk far. Plus I get a good work out in too.
I really am proud of the girls they are growing into. Now I am not saying we are all sunshine and roses. Going out to eat is still stressful at times. We have lots of jealousy, and crying can happen at any moment. But when it's good it's good.
And I am thankful for that.
