Ashley is fantash-lee.

Okay so we call Ashley, "Ashley fantash-lee" and today let me say she was fantastic!!! She had her Christmas program at school this morning. Her and her little friends all did so good. They were all dressed like stars and sang "twinkle, twinkle little star." The "Jesus" version. At the end of Ashley's song she said "momma you so proud of me?" I said yes we did our thumbs up. That is something that started with Emily and soccer. Anyway as she got off the stage she pulled on her shirt and said "mommy I am a ROCK STAR." This is awesome, we are not rock stars around here and do NOT pretend to be. It was all on her own and everyone around us herd her and was laughing. It was fantastic!! I need to figure out how to post video from the "real" video camera.

It was a great performance, Michael could not make it because it was during the day but it was so cute. Cindy and Irelynn(the cousin) did come. Ashley had mixed feelings about that but it meant a lot that Cindy came. Straight after Ashley had her party. I love her school the teachers all seem nice, and love the kids. Ashley has been doing really well since starting school, less spankings, not getting into trouble as much. Even her ballet teacher has noticed an improvement in her behavior.

Later this day it has started to rain everyone is freaked out it is going to turn to ice. Everything was shutting down early. Umm, No I have SHIT to do. There is no nice way to say it, it is pissing me off. I was mad at the bank for closing early and Ashley replied with "its okay momma I will be your friend." (let me clarify I did not swear in front of my kids.) Thank you Ashley I was worried about loosing friends when the roads are icey!!!

Tonight I put her to bed she took a nap today so she is not sleepy and she says trying to prolong going to bed. "Momma tell me about Jesus dying on the cross, and Easter." Melt my heart, isn't that so sweet. Emily has always been our bible thumper, Jesus girl. Ashley not so much. But I really feel that this Christian pre-school is really opening her eyes to God in away we have not been able too. With Emily it was so easy. Or maybe Ashley is so "different" that she just is NOW ready. I love it. She loves to read her bible. And sing "I am in the LORDS army." At the top of her lungs I might add.
Anyway this is a lot to post about Ashley.

A lady behind us in the performance said "its a good thing they are all so cute." And I said "yes so they can all live to see another day."

18 months and growing

So Chloe had her well check yesterday for 18 months.

Chloe is 28 lbs something, I thought she was 29 the other day but she just must have been full. She is 34" tall, at her 16 month appointment she was 30" tall. So in two months she grew 4" holy moly. Michael said "4" taller and 4" wider." Really the fat jokes will stop soon, but she just so cute with all the rolls and big ole belly and booty.

We had a snow day yesterday so we all went to Chloe's well check. Michael, Emily, Ashley, Chloe and I. It was scheduled for a Monday so just Chloe and I could go no such luck. Anyway Chloe is a growing good and doing everything on mark besides talking. She is as tall as a 27 month old.

Today Chloe is wearing 24 months pants and 3t shirt. No joke soon her and Ashley can share clothes. Ashley is not short or small for her age but in this house she is a peanut.

Chloe can blow her nose, she is a genius Emily can't even blow her nose. Ashley can, too. Chloe says "uh-oh," "No," something that sounds like "hi" we lost "ew" have not herd it in awhile. I think they are signing Chloe for a speech evaluation soon. Something free that they do in the state of Tennessee yes I know something actually free in TN? Shocking I know.

Chloe is a bundle of fun, screaming for joy, biting sisters and wood furniture, grunting and moaning to get her point across. She loves to wear this read apron it is really cute. She loves toast, fruit snacks, baby crack (apple sauce), turkey and many other things. Oh and Coke if it were up to her that would be her drink of CHOICE. And her best friend on Earth is her thumb, Emily and Ashley. She loves to sleep with and carry Teddy bears.

Clothing, and shoes ohh my.

As a woman I have the thoughts I can never have to many shoes or clothes. I could seriously use a couple of pairs of pants I have lost a lot of weight well not a lot but none of my pants fit the same. So I have three pairs that really fit. That only gets me through six days tops I do laundry every 7 days. I do not go pant less on the 6th day just to clarify.
Any way back on point. How many shoes are too much for a kid? There feet have not grown as fast as I thought they would. For example Ashley has a pair red glitter shoes, black dress shoes, brown boots, black boots(on the way out the door, they are trashed), red lady bug tennis shoes, and I think that is it. For the record, both boots and black shoes are hand me downs from Emily. Is this too many shoes? Really I feel like a kid shoe have two pairs of tennis shoes and she does NOT right now. She does not have "rain" boots either...am I de-priving her?? Ohh she does have snow boots again hand me downs from Emily via a cousin.

Emily will be my next example she has a pair of brown shoes dressy, black shoes good shoes my mom paid good money for she loves them (they are sparkly, kinda), brown fringe boots, hello kitty rubber shoes, black winter type boots, converse tennis shoes pink plaid, a pair of black cowboy boots she took from grandmas via another cousin, then she has four shoes in waiting when her feet grow again. One hand me down pair from a neighbor, no not that neighbor, a gift pair from another neighbor, and a pair of purple sparkle converse that I had my mom buy way too big, oh and flip flops. In my defense because as I right this out it really sounds like a lot!!! Its winter and cold and my kids have style I did not say it was great style. Emily has to wear closed toe shoes to school every day we need variety. In the summer my kids get a pair of crocs, flip flops and tennis shoes for just in case. So does it balance out?? How could I forget the gold sparkle shoes??

Now Chloe is different. Right now at this moment she has 2 pairs of shoes we bought the other day at stride rite. Yikes!! But really her feet are so fat it is hard to find shoes that fit!! Chole has tons of shoes that may never fit because her feet might stay too fat for too long. We try as we go along. I can't wait for this one pair of converses to fit her they are animal ones of clown fish you know like Nemo. They even have fins. There is a cute pair of boots I don't think she will ever wear them do to her foot size and her legs being on the short side. She could kill her self in them.

The good news is I can sell them to buy more shoes give them to friends who have other little girls. I have a friend having her 3rd girl!!! So this is my question how many shoes are too many? My laundry room floor would tell you I have too many.

Now clothing I feel like my kids always grow mid-season. Chloe is growing. She has grown 4" in 2 months is that possible. This is a laundry day, and I have thrown away worn down undies, stained leggings, stained shirts, overly stained socks. The girls are set for presents but they still have gift cards and money coming I think it will go towards stocking up on clothes.

This is a question from a momma of three girls. I won't even go into how many shoes I have!

Let me just say...

Never go Christmas shopping in holiday green valour pants when it is raining. I love valour so much. I have cut down how much I wear it but I figured we would shopping for hours and I wanted to be comfy. Let me just say it was not raining when I got dressed. I was NOT dressed for rain at all. My coat was not water resistant I did not have a hood. I had an umbrella with me but I hate using umbrellas. My pants are almost to big so they are a little long flowy and got wet. It was pouring rain through our whole shopping trip.

We left the girls with Cindy. So from 1:30pm tell 7:30 pm when we picked the girls up we shopped in the rain. I had to clean my glasses every time we got in a store and every time we got back in the car. We even had to unload the car before picking up the girls. Not that we had that many presents but my mom is getting the girls a trampoline for Christmas and it was so big it filled up the whole back seat. Let me just say that Cindy needs an award for watching the girls yesterday... Emily was missing us calling us saying we were taking to long. Umm hello we are buying YOU presents. Be quite. Ashley got sprinkles in her eye and her eye hurt. At 6:30pm Ashley got a blanket and pillow and said she was going to bed. She did not really but she was tired. Chloe was happy but she does not talk only grunts, she is 29.8 lbs, 18 months on Friday. Cindy carries her every where. Crazy I know. Cindy probably weighs 70lbs more then Chloe. Any way the girls were in rare form for Cindy. So thank you Cindy. We got almost everything DONE!!

It was fun shopping in the maddness with just Michael. I really want a small zip around car for moments like this in Cool Springs with rain and holiday traffic. But a small car is unrealistic for us... We never ventured into the mall but we did everything else Toys R Us, Learning Express, Brilliant Sky(sucked), Life Way, Essex, Hobby Lobby, and Academy. Academy will not be winning any awards for customer service but they had what we needed.

Hope you had a wonderful Saturday!! It is Sunday morning and snowing, well it stopped for now! Thank GOD. I hate snow. Specially when there is school tomorrow Ashley already missed a day last week. Have to get our money's worth.

Recovered and etc.

We recovered!! Michael, Emily and I did not get it!!! Hallelujah. Praise the LORD. Thursday was just any old day. Until Michael called and said "he was coming home and it was 3pm." Umm, wow. This is the day we will get our TREE!!

Okay so I hate buying a Christmas tree in TN, it such a let down. Three kids don't help either. In CA there was ambiance when you went to buy a tree, music and lights and they are all set up every where, they have hot coco, everyone is bundled up it is only 50 degrees. These things I miss, the weather epically yesterday it was 45 and that is exciting. Anyway I hate buying a tree here. DO you want to buy it at Home Depot or Lowe's. There is no flocking of trees here either. My mom and I use to get get pink or purple flocked trees.

So it is so boring here, so I did not take pictures of it. Plus the kids were awful to say the least, after dark my kids should not be let out of the house.

So we let them stay up late to decorate the tree. Every year we name the tree Emily wanted to name it Mickey before we even saw it. I think it's name should be inspector gadget, it has some really long "arms" or branches. What ever you want to call it. So here it is we have two trees this year, we have plenty of ornaments for both.

I love Christmas time don't get me wrong I just hate buying a tree and the fake trees look so sad. I love my little fake one up stairs but it is just for fun.

Merry Christmas everyone. The girls are going to grandma and grandpa's today so we can finish shopping. I think this is the soonest we will ever be done shopping. Thanks to Amazon.

Sick, sick, sick

Well nothing slows down a busy life like puke!!! I had my Wednesday all mapped out. Ashley was to be in school, and I had stuff to do. 2am we get the puking wake up call in Michael's blanket no less!! Thank you it was not mine. Fever, set in and was not happy.

So we headed to the doctor, walk-in clinic, to find out Ashley has strep and a ear infection. Ohhh wait for it Chloe too!! Kids under two are not suppose to get strep throat, but my kid is special. I knew it now you do too!

Poor Ashley slept most the day away finally feeling better about 3pm. Meds kicking in. She slept so much yesterday I think she was up a lot last night. So now she is still sleeping at 7am. There are a few pictures of our "sick set up."

Chloe acted like nothing was wrong with her...see I said she was special.
Okay so the blue bucket is the puke bucket. The kids carry it with them when they are sick. Ashley could have won an Oscar with her sickness. She just kept spitting in the bucket. But she draged it every place she went.

Can I give some praise? Emily has not gotten it yet. Thank you LORD. Jehovah Rafa!! The GOD that heals. Amen.
