Things that make me smile...

So here is Chloe she makes me smile for many reasons. Like she getting old enough for me to tell her "NO" she does not like that. She cries really loud only for minute just enough to show you that you should have not said that too her!!!

But I smile because I LOVE this dress, one of my moms friends sent it from another country I want to say Japan, I have no idea what size it is, but they have all worn the dress. I can put it with tights, and a long sleeve shirt, I can have it plain like this. They have all worn it for at least a year. It is missing the pearls on it now Ashley ate them off. (need I say more it's Ashley.) They were just decoration anyhow. But I love hand-me-downs for the girls. I love when all three of them can wear something. We have lots of hand-me-downs with fillers to fill from when other things have gotten ruined.

Now the other two pictures are of Chloe and her new trick. Take off her own diaper and start wiping herself. Yes even if it is poop. i know so gross. Now if I could just get her to way poo poo so she could go in the potty. We may have to learn the sign for "potty." I find poop bomb diapers all over the house from Chloe. Yuck.

It still makes me smile. Like my mom said "first time I won't be changing diapers since July 2005. I see the end of the road. Makes me a bit sad and glad!

Caution: Easter bunny at work

So last night while moping the floors, getting ready for a garage sale, packing Easter eggs for our hunt, the Easter bunny got the baskets together. I have to go out of town the week before Easter so I need to know everything is "ready" while I am gone. So the bunny and I put everything together. I got the buckets from the dollar section, got the vinyl letters on etsy. I would not normally buy all the same color but that is all they had in the buckets and the letters were cheaper all the same color too. Emily and Ashley want trash cans so I figure after Easter the buckets can be used as trash cans too. Every basket has new sun glasses, bubbles, and a piece of clothing. They each got a watering can I am really excited about the water cans because I found a pink dinosaur for Ashley how perfect is that? I got Emily a pink tea pot, and Chloe got a pink elephant.

I am super excited about Easter, I love a big fun Easter with a big egg hunt and lots of kids around. Last Easter was different... we are back to the good ole Easter. Lots of friends and family coming for Easter and lots of eggs and food. Can't wait. So the bunny still has to stuff more eggs, we got good candy that mom and dad like too. The bunny and I got a lot done last night. (wink, wink.)

On another note the garage sale. We did good we did not have much but got rid of everything I really wanted to get rid of!! Ashley got dropped off at school by Ms. Lea with her friends Caden and Blake and she was super happy. I will pick them all up!! Chloe was really well behaved at the garage sale too. We had a nice morning after the sale too. Ashley has an extra day of school this week bonus!!

Ready for the weekend now.

Not so much, but so much

Nothing all that exciting has been going on, but still lots happening. There is only 7 more Monday's of school left!! I am really excited about Emily being home for the summer, ask me after summer starts again but I think so.

Anyway, this weekend was good Michael had to work Saturday, Emily scored her first goal, I missed it because I was still at Ashley's game and Cindy missed it because she was talking to Krissy. So that is awesome, too bad we missed it and I forgot the camera any how. It was a nice slow weekend, Sunday we had quality family bonding and went and did kite flying at the farm. Chloe is a great kite flier we almost lost Emily's kite and Ashley's kite Emily is not a great kite flier since she got them both stuck in the same tall pine tree. We got them out the horses tried to eat them (according to Ashley.)

It was a nice end to the weekend. We have been planning a trip for me to go help my momma out. My momma is having back surgery, Yikes. But it is so common now, I know 4 people who have had it done in the past couple of years. I pray it is quick and easy and it heals all my momma's pain. And that Chloe is a good girl when we go. I will get to have a quick hug with my grandparents and my dad too. Double bonus. But we will be in California in less then 7 weeks as a family!!!!

So back to the grind of life, it is warming up here to 71, tomorrow. I am pumped.

Chloe LOVE part II

Here is the bedding from TJmax, again thank you mom. Its very pretty and girly I really like it. Very different from the other girls rooms. I don't know when Chloe will get a "big girl" bed... that is one of the worst parts (for me and toddlers) sleep training again in a big girl bed. Maybe by the end of summer. Here is another picture the glare is pretty bad. Here is a corner shelf that I found at a consignment store I got two for like $ 10. The were a pepto pink color so I am spraying them green. Same as the "Love" sign. Here is the other one. Notice some white shelves also. Those will be painted purple for the Emily's room. A dark purple to hold her canvases on. Remember Emily loves to paint. I will show you more as I get more done. Say a prayer for me on getting Michael to paint Chloe's room again. But really I need to focus on finishing the office and the living room. I have not even posted any pictures of that yet.

Chloe LOVE part II

Chloe LOVE.

So I hate how this thing loads, I guess I am lucky I can even figure out how to post. I am working on some projects for Chloe's room. Chloe's birthday is coming up soon. My mom got Chloe her bedding for her soon to be big girl bed. So I have been working on decor to match. I am doing kind of a shabby chic look, in greens, blues and yellows. Chloe is already very girl but I did not want pinks and purples. Chloe's room is a light tan on three walls and a purple blue on one wall. Do you think I could convince Michael to paint a wall for Chloe's room? Hmm I don't know. I may have to do it myself. I am thinking a teal blue color. I bought a can of green spray paint, to do accents with. I am really happy with the way things are turning out my friend Nicole and her kids came over to supervise me spray painting. Emily wanted to "help"spray paint too. Here is the finished product on the Love sign for Chloe's room. Her middle name is Love, this was a black love sign to start out that I painted green then sprayed it green also I was worried about the covering. I added some yellow ribbon with a bow because I just "love" the ribbon.

Here it is before, what do you think? Too bad its already done.

I also "painted" a picture for Chloe's room too. I am not a great painter but I tried it's not finished but I will take another picture of it when the final product is done.

Here is the love sign when I had just hand painted it. Did I mention I got this at Kroger (the grocery) store for $ 7 on sale. Here is my blank canvas. I am really liking green, I hope Chloe does too!!
