Sharing

Just now as I was taking the girls to bed Ashley took a big swig of my water. Yuck, I am thinking of the back wash that went into my cup. She looked at me and said "mom we are sharing." Ohh good I love sharing...colds, drinks, food, boogers. Yuck.
As any mother would hope for sharing of toys, kind words, Halloween candy, you know the "good stuff."

Today we had lots of friends come over and play. Emily had today off from school so lots of kids came over to play. We shared today, Camden and Boden's mom brought juice and crackers, Katie brought donuts, Nicole my dear friend brought me a coke. I did not have to share my coke but it was so nice of her to do that for me. I gave a bag of baby clothes to another friend. I shared my home and all of my toys...the girls toys with their friends.

We share friends I met Jeannie at a MOPS play date, Lea we met at the park, Nicole we avoided for a year(not really), But we are all friends now, we have shared in friendship. Lea "picked up" a mom at the park, Shanelle we have now made a new friend.

This is turning into a very Corny post but sharing is caring. So I will share some funny thoughts with you today.

Ashley told me she almost ate a booger...what happened to the booger is another thing.

Emily went to dance class with a tutu on her waist and around her neck. Chloe had a purse as almost as big as her. Ashley was ready to dance with Nana's Elvis purse.
Lots of dancing on tables today, from Chloe. Chloe has just started to really get her "groove on."
Ashley had to show her cousin Isreal her "really, really cool Buzz Lightyear bike."
Today was a good day, I need to focus on these days. No pictures to share today.

Is it time to trick or treat yet????

Ohh Sunday Ashley was convinced that Sunday morning it was time to put on her costume again and go trick or treating. So Ashley is three and the past two years we have just done the church on Halloween. She was so confused to have to go to church on Sunday twice and the first time there would be no costumes and no candy!! Michael and I voted and we think Halloween like Thanksgiving should be on the last Friday night of October every year.
My kids were on such a sugar high. They ate candy all day but today on Monday they have only had one piece after dinner. They did not ask for any all day. Chloe the poor thing she walked all through church claiming her candy but she was so sleepy and high on sugar. I wish I had took video she did not know which way to go half the time. So again here are some pictures, we carved our one pumpkin too.

Saturday

Okay so after writing about Friday I was tired again and had to lay down. So on to Saturday I will save you the play by play but we ventured out to another "trunk or treat." This time at Spring Hill Baptist Church. We saw some friends and had some fun and of course got MORE candy. Enjoy the pictures. Also Michael worked all day Saturday. Ugh but love that Saturday money!!
Pictures of some of the "crew" Hazel and Zane two of my favorite kids!! Emily hit herself in the mouth with a horse shoe, but Mrs. Beth was there and that just made Emily feel better.

Friday night

So Halloween is on a Sunday this year which means a full action packed weekend of Halloween things to do. Friday night was trunk or treat at Spring Meadows church. Which let me tell you I had a Blondie moment, I never knew why they called it "trunk" until I went you go around to people's trunks and collect candy. Most people had their trunks decorated for Halloween.
Emily and Ashley wanted make up on, Chloe already can't be left out. So here is a few pictures from Friday night we got there just as the girls friends Caden and Blake did.

I guess I should touch on costumes. Emily was a princess again. Next year I am banning princesses from the list to pick from. Ashley wanted to be a Dinosaur but the flying dragon costume was much cheaper, and Chloe was a butterfly. I loved it!!

Here we go again

So Friday I spent from noon on at school with Emily. She had FUN RUN, and her school party. Lots of craziness and fun. It was a long afternoon, with running, games, treats and going home early.

We were so busy, I kept thinking what happens when I have three in elementary school for two years. Michael is going to have to come to parties too, or I am going back to work and not do anything.

So we came home I took Ashley to get an x-ray (that is another story) and ate dinner and off to the next thing. (next post).
