Hot dates ... playdate.

So Lea asked me to babysit and how could I say no? This is the sweetest kid ever!!! I know Lea would tell a different story. But I will take him anytime any place. Aren't they a cute couple I could be looking into the future. At least 20 years, yes I know I was married and pregnant at 23 but still I don't want my girls thinking marriage is all there is.

I love this kid. I am so sad that I do not have the red head gene. Look at that face. So sweet.
This is Blake, we met Lea with Caden (big brother) and Blake at the park almost 2 years ago. Emily or Isreal hit Caden, we had to be friend her after that. So crazy that is has been almost two years with this wonderful family. Caden was in FL, otherwise I would have posted pictures of him too. Even if he is not a red head. I have a soft spot for MOST red heads. LOL.

Look at them Ashley loves her Blakie. They are soo sweet and funny together. I love to hear a 3 year old and almost 3 year old talk. Specially with no 5 year old siblings telling them what to do.

Pure Exhaustion.

This picture speaks volumes to my daughter right now. She figured out on Monday that school is everyday all DAY long. Not much room left for other things. Like playing with friends. This will be on going becuase Emily has some boy friends that she is very close too. And most of them she sees at soccer but a few she does not see often.

So Emily so tired. We went to lunch after getting Ashley's ears pierced and this is how Emily laid until we got a table. When Nana is here the girls get up early any ways. But now Emily is mentally tired too. This was just after two full days of Kindergarten.

Sunday fun day!!

Before, she was happy and excited.

After, now when you read below we always said it would hurt. She cried. You ask her now she says it did not hurt she just cried a little. Well for like 15 mins.

So Ashley for the past couple of weeks has been talking about getting her ears pierced. We do not lie to our kids, we tell them it WILL hurt. Ashley finally wanted to do it. I don't like the idea of doing it when they are babies, I get why people do and we almost did Chloe's. But I think it should be there choice and yes I know at almost 3 does she really know but I think she did. Emily got hers pierced at 3 years 3 months, and she got it. We told Ashley we would have to clean them every day at least twice a day. So here is the video of her getting her ears pierced.

I have to say Emily I am sorry. We got your ears done on a whim after your first soccer game. Mommy was not prepared at all. So for Ashley I made sure I had video and the camera. Daddy did take your picture on his cell phone, that is too old to down load on the computer.

Hotsy Potsy

Saturday afternoon, after a wonderful birthday party Nana took the girls and I to Hotsy Potsy. This is a local painting store were you paint some sort of ceramic something. This is a picture of Nana and Emily paint Nana's star dish. Emily painted an octopus, Ashley choose a shark, and Chloe painted too. A tile to hang in her room.
Here is Chloe and I, she loves to color and paint. Chloe had lots of fun and got paint all over her and some on the tile.

Ashley is very artsy, so is Emily. So they love doing these types of things it is a special treat. Good way to fill up a Saturday afternoon. We went to Emily's favorite place to eat that night at Asuka we ate late because Michael worked late but the girls did well. Another great day with Nana.

Maybe there is a future??

Ashley took my camera to take a picture of me, and this is it!!! Not bad she may have a future in this. She can be her Aunt Jenny's apprentice one day. Ashley is very creative, loves to color on herself I feel as though she could be a tattoo artist some days. This gives me hope she will turn out to be something else, like photographer. Nothing wrong with a tattoo artist, I have tattoos. Ashley is my wild child always doing something crazy has no fear in life except when it comes to water!! She is afraid of water pools, rivers, even the bathtub if you view earlier post. I love my trouble maker what ever she grows up to be. And look at the look on Chloe's face. Yikes that's my Chloe.

Emily has a new coach.

Here is Emily at her first practice of the season Emily has played 3 other seasons we took last spring off. Emily does have a new coach, JV. This Zane's dad one of my friends husbands. Coach JV is an awesome coach just like Coach Ward was. It was a little rough for Emily getting going with out Coach Ward even though JV is just as good if not better. Emily has a lot of friends on her team. Carter who we have played with in the past and is a good friend. Ella a neighbor and friend, Wyatt a team member from our first 2 seasons. Of course Zane. Leah is a girl Emily has played with on occasion and I know her mother and then two other kids I do not know well Gabe and Caleb. We seem to have a great team this year. Again I am loving being a soccer mom!!
A team huddle.

Here is Nana with Chloe and Hazel watching the big kids play. This is a great Friday afternoon.

My mother and Camels

So here is my mom with her camels. They have baby camels in the petting zoo at the Zoo. Can I tell you the scaring that camels have caused in my life? I am the only kid who did a report on camels in the 4th grade I think. I know lots about them and my mother has an extensive camel collection. So here is my mother on the phone with Jamie's mom, her sister. And being eaten by a camel.

Chloe liked the camels too. This is very dangerous if my sense some one weak for camels she will take advantage. Poor Chloe, she does have a camel dress...that I bought just for my mom. Just ask my poor cousin Doug he was "tricked" into liking camels when he was young too. I gotta say they are kind of cute but I am more of an alpaca girl my self. ( I saw camels "mate" when I was a young child, I will never forget it. In a bad way not in a good way.)
