Last day of Kindergarten for Emily
Mrs. Pantall did a wonderful job. Emily and all her friends did great singing all their songs. Mrs. Pantall made a memory book for everything they did this year kind of makes my scrap booking seem like a waste of time. I love Emily's teacher I hope we are blessed next year with another wonderful teacher. The songs were so cute if I ever get them on to a CD I will share some of their singing. Have a great summer. I am caught up on blogging and heading off for vacation tomorrow.
Ashley last day
This dog
So I will spare you most of the details but this dog was sick, sick sick. He pooped, diareah all over the car. Thanks mom for helping to clean it up. Yuck we were on our way back from the vet. But here is a picture of him climbing on the table eating an scrap he can find and then he gets scared and stuck and stays up there tell we get home. He's all better now.
Last day of getting on the bus.

Getting your nails did.
Chop it off!
Ballet is done and on to the short cuts of summer. Emily did not need much taken off just clean it up. Ashley's hair needed major help, we chopped lots off. I think they both look so cute. THankfully no fire alarms were pulled.
So the picture of the two of them is before I guess I never got the after picture?! Stay tuned. I am trying to get caught up before we leave.
Ashley's Turn
So I think we are the only ones who bailed on the second show... but come on 2 shows fro 3 and 4 year olds. Ashley was nervus about getting up there the first time can't imagine forcing her up for a second time. I save Mrs. Towell, as Ashley calls her the headace. Ashley did a great job, she was a very cute clown. I was glad she was the first act.
The seating was horrible to see I stood on a chair for most of her performance. Emily felt sick, really I just think the show was not about her so she was not into it. Chloe picked her nose and hogged up grandma. Overall it was a fun time at the "circus." Best part, beside Ashley was the $1 cotton candy. Yummy.

Proof
Happy UN-Birthday
So Emily's teacher, Mrs. Pantall said that kids who had summer birthday's could bring in a treat the last week of school for the kids to sing them happy birthday. Emily's birthday is July 21, so they sang "happy birthday, even though it is not really your birthday." Really they did, it was quite cute. It was total surprise to Emily.
It is your one time in Kindergarten you get to stand in a chair and some one "helps hold you up." Really they just stand there and hold your hand. Emily picked LEVI!
It was a great SURPRISE for Emily. Nana, Ashley and Chloe came too.
Snack Bag
It has been a crazy week here, my mom just left. We are trying to clean up, pack up and prepare. But I just realized I just packed Emily's last snack bag for Kindergarten. I will pack her last lunch in the morning too.
I am having mixed emotions, I am glad Emily is done with school for the year and is going to get a break. But I am also thinking I am going to have three kids all summer long. I know I have done this before but I am worried Emily is going to get board. I know we will spend lots of time at the pool and in the back yard with sprinklers.
I am enjoying these moments. I will have 2 more times of last snack bag of Kindergarten... anyway.

Happy Birthday Hailey
My cousin's daughter turned two on Sunday. She is sooo sweet and cute. She had way too many presents and a huge rediculas cake but it was the perfect party for a two year old, only child!! I should know.
Chloe loved practicing for her party by helping Hailey open her presents. And of course Emily and Ashley kept trying to help too. But I kept telling them "NO."
I can't believe Hailey is two, Hailey is less then a month older then Chloe. You know what that means Chloe is going to be two soon. Yikes. This makes me sooo sad, yet happy for what comes next no more diapers. Well at least during the day!!
Is it just me?
So Emily's recital was this past weekend. It went really well, she did pretty good...you know as good as a uncoordinated 5 year old can be. She knows she is not that good, it breaks my heart but she tries and that is what is important.
Anyway back to my thoughts. So I am battling that my little girl is growing up, she does not need me as much as I think she does. But I guess I still need her? The ballet show they needed a ballet mom, for each group I thought about being it BUT my other girls need me too. I do too much as it is, but helping girls I don't know plus Emily might be too much. I don't help, it turned out really good, Emily never cried. In fact she seemed to have had a lot of fun and not notice that she had been back stage for over two hours with out seeing her momma or dad. She made Nana, momma and grandma bracelets back stage. So I was really proud of Emily she did not need me and I guess I did okay with out her.
But my Ashley, that is a picture of her sitting in the theater getting ready to watch the show. She sat in between Nana and grandma, and next to daddy I was on the far end. But every time that child needed something she yelled for me. I guess it is good she knows she can always count on her momma but really there are two capable women sitting next to you child, ask them. So my thoughts are... am I too over baring or am I doing something right? I would like to think I am doing things right and my kids can count on me. Not that I am there too much and they are not independent enough. Ashley can do a lot of things for her self get her self dressed most mornings, brush her teeth, put her shoes on. She can not brush her hair just because it would never get brushed, and wipe her BUTT. So gross but her arms I guess are still just too short. The stories I could tell but I won't.
I know Chloe still needs me and I really need her. I know this is why some people keep on having babies to be needed. I don't have that problem but I am enjoying still dressing Chloe even if she does have an opinion most days about what she would like to wear. Ugh.
Anyway I don't know if I really got my point across but my kids still need me for the most part and weather they are scared for it or not I like it. No wait I love it.

Just a above average Thursday
So Thursday we stayed home all day until soccer. We should have never even gone soccer because as soon as we pulled up it was canceled because of lighting. But I did get gas and that is an experiance all in its self these days with gas prices. I filled the tank, and I am half way through the tank because of all the driving this past weekend. But that is another post.
Anyway so I stayed home all day which is un-herd of. I had Hailey for the day my cousins daughter. You already know I got her to take a nap SCORE. So while the little girls napped and Ashley rested on the couch watching tv I mowed the lawn. Our wonderful neighbor Kevin mowed one side of our lawn earlier in the week. I needed to mow the other side it was getting long. So is our back yard. Michael has been super busy and has just not had the time and when he is home the energy. So I did not get much mowed because of the gas situtation, as in the lawn mower was almost out of gas. But hey I get some points for trying to mow even if I only did a bit of the back yard and the other side of the house and front yard. For the record the grass is REALLY high it is going to be really, really hard to mow.
We had a nice day of rest, and I made dinner. It was a relaxing day in this crazyness of the end of the year of school.
