Trying some different things

So I tried another Nicole recipe, this time for Salmon. Chloe, Ashley and I loved it!!! Michael has not eaten yet and Emily well, I will work on her I was kind of surprised she did not like it.
Another different thing I tried was seeing how Chloe did with only one nap!! From the pictures I am sure you can see it did not fare well. She threw herself on the floor. I don't think it helps that I am snapping pictures as she does it.
I love this cranky face. Chloe got another hair cut today it is her 2nd professional one and her third if you count dad cutting off the duck tail early on. My kids are gifted in the early hair development like me. Chloe's hair is a piece of work...too straight to do anything with so it goes up in a water spout most days so she can see.
On to better things. Emily is on Fall break, I never had fall break. It is only two days and it has been nice to have her home. Yesterday the big girls spent 7 hours at Cindy's house. Emily I think soaked up the grandma time. It was nice for me Chloe and I napped and rested since I was recovering from gut puking and a dentist appointment for a cavity.
Today Ashley had dance class, went to the car wash after, hair cut and Publix. It was a nice morning the girls played watched tv. Chloe took about a two hour nap we went to Kedron park this afternoon. Emily rode her bike around the whole "track." She did really good. We are blessed to live on a cul-de-sac but it is not flat and sometimes hard for Emily to get going on her bike. I got a little exercise, it was nice something different and FREE!!!
On to dinner it was good, thank you Nicole. I love her meals easy, yummy and good for you. Such a good mommy and wife!! (friend too.)

So we (Nicole and I) buy Costco salmon individual wrapped and frozen. Or fresh from store.
Defrost, I did over night.
Tin foil sheets to wrap salon in grease tin foil with Olive oil. (best part no skin on Costco kind)
Season salmon with sea salt and pepper to taste or a seafood seasoning of your choice.
(I did a kroger brand seafood rub.)
Add sliced lemon I used 1 lemon on two pieces.
Slice some onion for flavor, I also added garlic minced.
wrap in foil leave room for steam to come out of fish.
Ohhh oven at 325 cook for about 25 mins or so check the fish to make sure it is cooked proper.
Nicole said check both pieces because sometimes one cooks faster then other.
Okay so best part is in the oven it did not make my house smell BAD.
So it was yummy and good for us too. Needless to say Chloe was happier after dinner. But very sleepy.

The weekend

Michael took Friday off he was not feeling well but the girls and I still did our thing. Michael did lots of paper work and rested. Saturday's are always busy with soccer but besides that we laid low this weekend. Michael and I went out to dinner with out the kids, Cindy watched the girls. The girls had lots of fun when we first got to Cindy's Uncle Jake and Isreal and Caleb were there. Always a bonus to be able to play with the cousins.
Sunday we had to help at church and Michael was not up to it. So I went by myself left him with our kids a took care of other peoples kids. We cleaned the car Sunday it so needed to be done. I finished off the night puking up my guts I don't know what it was but I am glad it is gone!!! Chalk this up to uneventful, boring post.

Okay so...

Wordless Thursday came and went and I forgot to take pictures. Lots happened on Thursday. Emily had some friends over after school, always a good time. We were so busy with that I forgot to take pictures. Soccer followed on Thursday night for Ashley. Friday was much of the same lots of word being said but no pictures being taken. Emily had her first official play date with a girl from school. Her name is Nyah and she is in Emily's class. Right now Nyah and Emily sit next to each other in class. Nyah has two little sisters that are 3 1/2 and 18 months so almost the same ages as Ashley and Chloe. It was nice to talk to Nyah's mom they are younger like us. I enjoyed having all the girls play together. Again our night ends with soccer practice this time for Ashley.

Wordless Thursday

Ashley and hats.
No one seemed happy this morning.
Ohh maybe after all.
This is from yesterday. Chloe hides and reads the bible.

So I need to explain I have been stalking other blogs it seems lots of them do a wordless day. So I am going to test it out. Thursday sounds like a good day to try. So there will be no words just a picture to sum up my day and or the girls day. I may just take a picture of clumps of hair on the floor!! Hahaha no not really could just symbolize how I feel. Any way, I am going to add in a few pictures now of picture I took this morning of Chloe and Ashley since Emily got her own post.

Emily

How could I forget the skirt is was made by Purple Finch!! Thank you love it.

Emily is cranky, beautiful, wild, loves to dress wild, smart, sweet, great big sister and loving school. She so big sometimes I look at her and think where did my fat little baby go. Sometimes I catch a glimpse of still a sweet little, little girl who still needs her mom and dad. I got to help in her art class the other day and it was fun nice to get to know some of Emily new friends. Can't wait we are having a play date with one of her new friends Nyah on Friday. Nyah has two little sisters that are 3 and 1 that is so awesome.

Dance/McDonalds/naps/rain/car rider line/dentist

Tuesday could have been the end of me. Dance for Ashley, McDonald's to where the kids out, naps for everyone always good. The worst part of my day car rider line, I had to take Emily to the dentist right after school so I had to pick her never again. Did I mention it was raining and you have to get out to get your kid with my two other kids. I don't know how those everyday car rider moms or dads do it. It is my least favorite thing, I love the bus. Anyway drop Chloe and Ashley with Mrs. Nicole, Zane and Hazel.
So now I take Emily to the dentist for a filling. Again I should have brought the camera or even the video camera because Emily fell asleep while getting her filling filled. It was too funny. Dr. Newberry our dentist does a great job with Emily she has no idea that she gets shots in her mouth. Emily is so relaxed there that she fell asleep. I was laughing it was too funny. Plus we were in and out in less then 30 mins so great. I said we have been sleeping a lot over here Emily napped tell 5:30 and went back to sleep by 8:30pm.
Ashley gave me a hell of a time when I picked her up from Mrs. Nicole's house she loved it there and did NOT want to leave. I had to drag her out I really do mean drag her out. Chloe loves Nicole's cats too. Michael has not trained her on the dangers of cats yet!! Anyway thank you Nicole for watching the monsters, I love that I have such great friends that we can help each other out.
Ohh and to finish the day I made enchiladas for dinner yum too kinds green and red.
