Menu, meal plan

So I am going to the store Saturday to stock up for the week. I am going to TRY and only go to the store once!! Will see how this goes.
I have my shopping list for Kroger and for Target. I only get a couple of things at Target that are better priced there.
So I am going to try and keep my self accountable on the blog for the week I will let you know how it goes. This will be hard since I also need to have everything for lunches as well.

My meal plan tell Friday night...
Tonight is Hamburgers for Michael and I hot dogs for the kids with french fries.
Friday- I am picking up pizza at Costco it is super cheap. ;) and Yummy.
Saturday Left over burritos it is shredded beef it really is yummy the kids love it
Sunday is Easter we will have a big lunch followed by steak salad and cheesey rolls.
Monday Chicken and green bean casserole with rolls The kids and Michael's favorite
Tuesday Burritos from ground turkey
Wednesday Pesto pasta with green salad my favorite
Thursday Steak Cauliflower and potatoes
Friday is crispy chicken with Asparagus

Let's see how it goes. I hope I can stick to it!!

Slowing down

So Thursday of Spring break we are going to play with friends. In the afternoon Emily is going to painting class for a butterfly. We are slowing down a bit. There are many other things I wanted to do this spring break but we are running out of time and money. I wanted to go to the Frist museum, I wanted the girls to get their nails done, the ice cream factory is closed to tours now also. :( There is always next time. Emily and the rest of us have really enjoyed Spring break. It makes us all wish it was summer break and that the pool was open. Soon enough I guess.

Day 3 photo's

Emily had her first private lesson for gymnastics yesterday. Christy said Emily tried really hard and is a hard worker. I agree. She is just scared to get those legs straight up in the air!!! I did not get many good action shots but here is an idea on what she is working on. She is trying to work on cart wheels and hand stands. I never learned, Michael is really good still at 33.

Spring Break Photos

Here are some photo's from Monday. Swimming in the trampoline. The girls have a lot of fun doing this. I am washing too many towels for this time of year. It is so warm they are taking extra baths and playing in the water already. I don't was towels after every use.

Spring break

Today was the topper on the cake for spring break!! We went to grandmas house with 28 of our closest friends. We had a great time. Then we picked up Emily's friend from school. These are two pictures from this afternoon with Reese, Emily's friend. We has a great day. Tomorrow we have another play date and Emily has a painting class.

Spring Break

the girls and I are enjoying spring break so far...
Emily went to gymnastics camp Monday and the two little ones had class. After class Hazel came to play. The girls played in the water and on the trampoline and later we painted eggs. Mrs. Nicole came too. So even I got a play date too... I guess. The girls watch some tv in the afternoon I put away lots of laundry.

Emily even did some computer practice work for school!! We are productive. I am letting the girls leave their rooms messy tell Friday. Then we are cleaning up. We have a busy week planned. I love a good spring break.

Girls slept in tell after 7 today. All of us did still recovering from a whirl wind Nana weekend. We had a great time with Nana. Wish the trip was longer. Looking forward to the beach. :) Thanks Nana for a great weekend that left us all tired.

I do have some pictures to post but I will do that later. Gotta go to the dentist and get new tires. :(

Green-er Grass

Look how pretty the grass looks. So green and lush. It has been so warm with lots of damp-ness and rain. So the grass has been growing like crazy. Michael mowed it yesterday. It was so thick. Enjoying the warm temps and lush grass.
