Summing up the days

So Nana left on Tuesday right before my birthday, she had been here for 10 days and it was time for Nana to go back home.

We had lots of fun ate out too much, shopped to much, got spoiled by Nana too much, had some adventures. It was not too much fun in a good way we can never have enough fun with Nana around.

We went to Chuck E Cheese one night, it is all a blur now. Nana watched the girls a few times, so Michael and I could finish up shopping.

SO here it is Nana, momma THANK YOU! THANK YOU FOREVERY THING YOU DO. COMING OUT HERE AND SPENDING YOUR TIME WITH US!

Today is the day.

Today Ashley went back to school. I have a lot on my to do list. Get caught up on the blog, start working on tax stuff, get thank you cards addressed and mailed that I have not yet. I think I only have one to mail and one to hand deliver. Clean off my desk, file lots of paper work. I need to start working on consignment clothes for February I know that is a long time off but I have a lot to do. Also 16 and pregnant where are they now is calling my name to come finish watching.

Chloe is already asleep. Will see how long that last. I need to put cleaner in the toilets. Well I will get to it. Happy hump day. Do you think I could fit in a nap?

Emily, Emily, Fe Fi, Fo Emily.

What a first day of school to get the blood pumping.

The day started off slow and rocky no one wanted to get out of bed. No wanted to eat a healthy breakfast. But Emily was excited to get on the bus and it might be ruined for life. I think Emily had a long first day back at school.

I believe Emily may have fell asleep a bit on the bus on the way home and missed her stop. The neighbor kids got off they said they did not see Emily never call on them to be an eye witness.

Anyway a bit of panic sets in for a mommy. The neighbors were out ready to help. Even some unsuspected help. I figured Emily forgot to get off. two weeks off is a long time and even that last week of school not much bus riding was happening with all the snow crud. Anyway I called the school they said she was not there they radio transportation and found Emily missed her stop!!! I knew then I would have a crying child on my hands when she returned to me. Sure enough. Mr. Mike the buss driver was nice to drive Emily up into the cul-de-sac and drop off my crying, scared baby girl.

Then I get a class letter from Mrs. Pantall Emily's teacher about all the new stuff the kids will be doing and the count down to first grade?? Huh, um we still have months left of Kindergarten right?? (Picture me counting on my fingers.) 5 MONTHS!!!!! Ohh my.

I hope we make it. I know Emily is smart and is a good learner but even I am feeling a bit overwhelmed on this first day back to Kindergarten. We have home work again. Schools back I was excited this morning but when is the next break??

On to other things

With Countless post on Christmas day lets move on, I am getting board.

Sunday we went to the mall my mom is always on the quest for another suit. We never have much luck. Did the mall after Christmas thing the thing that helped it not be so crazy was it was still snowing on Sunday and it was a church day. So by the time we were leaving the mall it was getting busy. Because you know we went to church of the mall not our regular or irregular church.

Monday we went to the jump house with some friends. I curled Emily's hair doesn't it look great. The other day I curled Emily's hair and straighten Ashley's hair this is my life I know you are jealous.

The girls are all wearing Hello Kitty shirts from Christmas from aunt Betty and cousin Sharon. Gotten lots of complements. All thought Chloe's is getting to small already.

The rest of christmas day.

We had a nice relaxing Christmas day with drums. We did soup and sandwiches with was nice and easy with ham. My cousins came over and Michael's parents joined us again. It snowed all day but it was nice for the fact we had no place to do and the kids were having lots of fun with their new stuff. Baby Hailey loved the drums too.

We had a merry, merry Christmas.

A shirt that shines so bright!!

Emily asked Nana to take her shopping for Michael and me for Christmas. She had very specific ideas of what to get Michael and I for Christmas. This was her idea for Michael!! A super shiny shirt and a brown dress belt. Gee thanks Emily. She was so proud of her picks it was really quite cute. So here is Michael shining in all his glory. Ohh the hat was a gift too.

We also got satin goldish yellow sheets too. They are super cozy though. I will touch base late on all the shiny stuff I have been asked to purchase recently too.

And we are off to a good start.

It is the first Monday of the new year and we are on track for a good 2011.

We already skipped church.
Kids are sleeping in, wow Tuesday is going to be hard for Emily.
Kids are fighting, yelling at me for breakfast.
Michael has slept in tell 8:30am he's never going to make it to work on time.
We did make it to Costco yesterday always a bonus!! Spent less then $200 even better.
Got our family photos taken by the famous Jenny Lindsey!! In the frigid cold. 32 degrees with the wind blowing. Yikes. I hope everyone likes a family photo with my kids crying.
I have not given up Dr. Pepper, Michael has not given up smoking.
But we are having some of our favorite friends over to play this morning. It is the last day off before Emily starts school.
Ohh, also Emily just asked me what did she get for Christmas? Huh already? I thought we could at least hold it off tell February.
Make up, trampoline, drum set, micro phone, book shelf, ds game things.
Ashley did get herself dressed this morning. I might have to take a picture of it later today.
So any way it is 01-03-11 and we are off to a great start!!!
